Thanks Bro! That seems pretty easy. So do you just run some water through the tube and dry it with tissue? I assume you can't run the wicks and coil through water, but probably you can soak off some of the liquid in the tissue right?

Not that I know of but I would pratice with taking an old cartomizer apart. You have to have it screwed onto something and I used an old 510 cig styled device and you kind of rock it back and forth but not to hard or you will break the center tube. Just do that and pull upwards or the opposite of the threaded part and it comes apart. I attached a video I just made for you. Maybe it will help some others also.

Once I have it disassembled down to just the wick and coil, I run it under some hot water. Then I kind of blow on it/ shake/ wipe the base with a towel then put it on the device and fire it. Do that until the wick turns white again and then reassemble. Here is a video I made to show how to clean it. I also do some dry burns before I use it to burn off any oil or anything that might be on the wick/coil from manufacturing. Some times it takes a tank or two before the flavor fully kicks in but when it does you will be super happy.

I just received this tank from Hoosier Ecig and it is a very solid piece, but I have terrrrrible dry burny hits off of it. I get one or two good ones but then allllll of the rest are just terrible. What is the problem? I primed the carto and all, but when I leave it sitting for 30 seconds and then use it, its waaaay dry again.

Did you fill the tank all the way? Are you using regular carto's or the CE2 style carto's?

hi bro, i follow your method to dissemble my UDCT carto.. but its cant open it.. its too tight.. any tip.. n i'm using pliers grip at the "carto plate" the..

oh ya btw i already reply ur question follow up at my new thread here..

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/396423-evic-inner-thread-problem.html

Do you have the CE2 style carto with really big holes in the tube for juice to get through? Or does it have really small holes like the size of a pin? You have to screw it onto something, but I wouldn't use your evic if I were you as that might mess the threads up.

As far as the connection problem. It sounds like the pins on the cartos are the problem. You can pull them out a little to make better connection.

i try the carto with the wick one same like yours bro.. any reason why we need to screw it onto something vs using pliers?. i thought its only for easy to hold it.. :D

n did you manage to solve the problem with evic inner thread? so the culprit is the pins on the cartos? i will try check after work.. if this true.. im happy again. i thought my evic inner thread got problem..

I do that because it is easier to get them apart. I couldn't imagine trying to get them apart with a pair of pliers. Maybe vice grips or a vice.

Yea, you can pull the positive pin on the carto out a little to make contact. I had to do it for my eVic using this tank and those CE2 cartos on the eVic. Otherwise it wouldn't make contact unless I took the ring off the tank, then it would work fine. I have had some cartos not screw onto my device before and it threw me off but when I put a different one on it threaded on fine. I figured they had made the threads incorrectly or something on that carto.

still can't open it bro... dunno why u can open it like a bos lol..

You're welcome bro! :D

Do you guys have the cig-a-likes over there in Malaysia? I would buy one of those or do you have another device besides the eVic? I would try it on a device. The one I tried it on was a Young June Lavatube and it stripped the threads but I had done it more than once. The hardest part is breaking the seal so to speak. You gotta put some pressure on it in one direction first and when you hear a crack or pop then you got it loose. Then you just have to rock it back and forth to get the tube off the coil.
