I've had my TFV4 for three days now. Using the triple coil head, and using a sigelei 150w TC and set at 100w. So far vapor and flavor have been amazing for me. Haven't gotten any dry hits and no leaking. Hoping to try the Quad Coil once the triple coil goes and see how that experience is. But so far, I love this tank, and going to probably order a few more. :)

You will notice the quad to be warmer, you may prefer it 85 watt range but the flavor gets better. The triple will probably last you weeks. You can also vape until the tank is pretty much empty.

Anyone else had problems with the top O- ring? Mine seems to have gotten loose or expanded or something and I can't get the glass to slide past it....

What top o-ring? Check my pics on page 25 link below. The top of the glass should not use an O-ring, or at least none of my tanks have one. Just the bottom by the coil has that white one that tears easy.

I can confirm a top o-ring.

Real bad picture, but you can see where the black o-ring is sticking out there. It's loose-ish so I can't twist it together because the glass won't slide past it.

I stared at the top of mine deeply the last two tanks I opened and saw nothing up there. Obviously I have missed something here, but it must be tucked inside really really good. I think this is the 1st mention or photo of such. Maybe someone who has one they have not filled up or is changing a coil can double confirm what your seeing. Hooray if we have another seal to contend with :)

I tried taking the o-ring out to see how it fits, and the fit is not snug (wiggles alot without the o-ring). I don't even know how it happened...I got a fresh pack of quad coil heads and now I can't get the damn thing back together. I'm pretty upset that it happened to me RIGHT BEFORE my trip overseas too! I don't have much time to try and source another one...ugh. Maybe I can try this from harbor freight tomorrow and hope one of them fits...180 Piece Viton O-Ring Kit

That be a whole lot of o rings. Yeah that sucks man. You will have to really document your venture on this o ring for all of us please. I am pretty sure you are 1st to officially have this issue.

I can imagine your frustration, weeks ago and 1 day before I left for Barbados I got my Starre Pro's in and they were leaking like crazy and I was so aggravated I had to leave them behind for lack of time to fool with it.

Can anyone that is currently using nickel or titanium dual coils comment on their performance relative to other dual coil nickel heads for other tanks (e.g., Crown)? I would primarily be using the TFV4 with nickel or titanium coils, but since the titanium and nickel coils are just dual coils anyway, I am not sure if it is worth going for another tank if the performance difference is minimal. I wish that there were triple coil temperature control options.

This vid just might answer your question.

WOW, It has expanded, I can see that, the only thing I can suggest is put some juice on it and on the inside of the glass and twist it into the top section.

Tried that...a friend suggested to lube it all up and twist, but I think it's just TOO expanded. Still dont get HOW the damn thing expanded either? Either I can find a replacement o-ring sometime today or I'm not vaping for the next month or so...

I'm starting to get the feeling I'm slowly being milked by SMOK with spare parts that clearly should have been included with EVERY model (at least the seals with every version). I can perhaps understand extra glass and more coils being in an upgrade kit.

We still have not seen the chimney mini o-ring for sale either. Maybe it's true each ring is cheap but along with a $1 o ring comes $5 shipping for many people each time they release a new replacement part.

Yes, I am grouchy this morning :(

Heck... They ought to have not only set of spares included in full kit, they ought to have a TFV4 first aid kit available with a couple of each o ring in it it as a set

All of that being true... Out of the 6 sub ohm tanks that I own including the Crown that I used for 2 months prior to getting the TFV4, the TFV4 is still my favorite.

It's a great tank ....just seeing a trend on spare parts BS. I am more Crown 1st to the TFV 2nd @ 100 watt range, but they are both hands down as good as it gets today. However SMOK is clearly tapping their customer for more money in the long run. The Crown did come with extra glass and multiple extra seals and 3 coils for $27.95/29.95 which one has to admit was a pretty good pack.

Just seeing a coming soon for another seal and knowing still yet another chimney seal is not even available yet ....the term "milking" is what comes to mind. Moooo!

yeah - for what it is worth, i am more inclined to believe they just didnt have all of their ducks in a row... not sure it is deliberate milking (though may be - look at the micro-transaction set up for upgrading to ni, ti, ss wire on the x cube 2) as much as being in too much of a hurry to get it to market

I agree @sd3614 that Uwell Crown is a quality tank all the way from the packaging to what's included in the package and of course the price, I got mine for $18 straight from Uwell! . I think many other companies should take note. Granted I have only had the TFV4 for 2.5 weeks my personal experience has been more consistent with this tank compared to the Crown. But you are right, they are both fantastic tanks and the best on the market at this point in my opinion
