So... I got the TFV4 tank last night. I put two tanks of
juice through the triple coil it and I'm not blown away. Given the near unanimous acclaim for it, I'm wondering what's going wrong. I've considered that it still needs to break in, but I've noticed a few cons besides the typical uses too much juice...
MY TFV4 Cons...
1. Get's very hot. If I take 5 hits in a couple of minutes, tank is so hot I need to be careful where I put it.
2. Changing the coil requires you to open the entire tank. That means you will probably lose some juice in the process.
3. Flavor - The flavor tastes burnt. I'm used to TC, but if I push the TFV4 up enough to give me a good vape, the flavor is muted and maybe burnt.
4. The top cap is a bit loose. It's not so hard to open accidentally in your pocket.
5. Drains my 18650 battery at 60w in about an hour. Maybe 4ml. I went through two batteries last night and I wasn't chain
vaping.
6. Drip tip is very tight. You can easily pull it off and open the top at the same time. You need to be careful not to spill juice.
Now, I'm using an SX Mini M-Class. It barely has enough power for it, so that may have something to do with the battery. I'm also used to TC and my TC coils are still in the mail.
Let me know if it seems like something seems wrong. I'm not sure my tank is operating at 100%. I get better flavor out of my Atlantis. Not as much volume, but better flavor.
