I'm sad.

I've had my zmax for less than a month and all of a sudden the fire button is stuck in the on position. I haven't droped it or man handled it in any way...

I'm no longer double fisted.

I've pinged the shop B&M that I purchased it at today. I hope to hear from them soon. But, I am not sure on how long they "warrany" these things. Has anyone had a similar experience?

If the shop doesn't refund or exhange it for something else... Is there a way to fix it?

There is nothing loose inside. Took a peek to see if I could see anything wrong. But, I don't see anything.


I'm just glad I pulled the trigger on another mod (provari). Otherwise I'd be up the creek without a paddle.

Mine did the same thing. try clicking the switch without the batts in. Then when you put the bats back in click the switch a couple more times before you tighten it all the way.

I have the option of returning it and getting a new zmax or Evic.

I need help with this decision? I bought the zmax because the shop didn't have any evic's when I went there. I liked it (zmax) but now I have the option and It's not going to cost me. What to do.... What to do... ARGH...

The ZMAX is an excellent device. I have seen both and the ZMAX seems sturdier. The eVic and all the data seems cool but you have to ask yourself, is it something you will monitor or care about? The menus on the ZMAX are simpler as well. I have a ZMAX and still use it from time to time.

On the ZMAX, cut off a little bit of the bottom spring, maybe 2 circles worth with some wire cutters. I had some sticking button issues and since trimming the spring a little bit, I have had zero issues. From factory, it is just too much tension pushing on the guts of the device.

So you are only one month into the e-cigs. Congrats man! I was a 12 year smoker and now after 6 months I have no desire to go back. I have tried a cigarette a couple times out of curiosity and have confirmed that the desire is no longer there at all.

Two of my buddies got the Zmax (one got the Smoktech, the other got the Segelei), and both regretted their purchases a few months down the road. The buddy who got the Smoktech Zmax complained about the button not firing the device every so often, and the plastic display window pops in and out of its own accord (he hasn't dropped his, either). The buddy who got the Segelei getting a LOW LOAD error screen, so he took it back to the B&M, and they had to send it off to get a wire re-soddered. I'm glad I held off getting one.

We you at the Scenic City Vapors vapemeet a few weeks ago? I grew up in Dayton, Tennessee, and lived in Chattanooga for 7 years. I'm currently in Dayton, Ohio, now, but a good friend of mine was able to go to the vapemeet. I think he one a chrome lavatube as some schwag.

Yeah i was at the vape meet. I won juice but it wasn't very good. There were a lot people out there. Pretty cool seeing all the gear.

I still have a ton of friends in Tennessee, and my girlfriend lives in Murfreesboro and works for Vandy. Next time I'm in Chattanooga, I'll have to see what's near there. I think Mountain Oak Vapor is the closest one.

Yeah, MOV is where I do my shopping. There is a little shop right off of Ringgold road too called Karden Distributing. They do wholesale mainly but do sell juice/cartos/kits etc.
