I'm looking for a mod that is 40-60 watt and around that price range as well. I have an istick 30w which I like but I want something that can handle a little more power since I want to get more of these sub-ohm tanks. I haven't heard too much talk about the smok Xpro box mods but I know they've been out for a moment. Is there something wrong with them or do people generally just prefer other mods? I'm open to suggestions, but not trying to spend too much. I have no other requirements except the power and price range. Suggestions or opinions?

I bought isitck50 from Elementvape for $54ish shipped. So far it's been working really well. I spilled beer in it but after one day of drying in rice, it still works fine so far. Unlike some other mods that can't detect some of my atties, this one detects every atty I put it on. I like its buttons which are not as noisy as others. It has no delay in firing. I really have nothing bad to say about it.

Also bought Xrpo M80 from 121vapes for $53ish (with coupon code 123cotton or something which erikbal gave it on another ecf thread) shipped last week. I am still waiting for it (USPS is slow, no status update since 3/7). But I have watched a lot of youtube reviews on it as well. The bottom line is, if you view it as a 80 watt dual battery kanthal device, then it's a great deal. But don't go there for the temp control, just view it as a bonus feature that has not been fully matured yet.

Yes, the Xpro 80 watt is one I had considered since it can go up to 30 watts higher than the 50 watt iStick for relatively a little more money. Truth is though, I probably will never need to go up that high ever, BUT I do like the option since I wouldn't have to upgrade again if I decided to go higher. I ordered from 121 vapes too and shipping was a bit slow that week but I think it was weather/post office related?

Basically, I'm just wondering if there is any reason I should consider a different mod than the iStick 50. I don't really care if I can't remove or choose my own 18650 batteries or whatever. My main concern is size, as I'd like something on the smaller end. And any annoyances I might experience within certain mods.

Well I received my XPRO M80 today. I ordered last Friday and today is Wednesday, so it's pretty good in shipping. Also Kudos to 121vapes, they threw me some extra freebies including an ejuice bottle, 2 anti-slip rings, and a drip tip. Man, what a pleasant surprise! I guess I will order more from them from now on, and their stuff are cheap anyway. Thanks erikbal for the recommendation!

Anyway, I have been using the XPRO for a few hours. I tested it from 30w all the way to 80w, and the wattage output was the same as my sigelei 150's, so the wattage is accurate. I also like its extra menu like the clock, the puff count, etc. Although they are not really necessary, but it's nice to have something extra. :)

The buttons are responsive, so far I haven't experimented any failure-to-fire on clicks, and they are not as noisy as some other mods'.

The actual size of the mod is smaller than what I have seen from youtube. I was expecting it much bigger.

Finally, I am still waiting for my NI200 wires so I can't test it on TC mode. I know that it's burning the cotton from Mike Vapes' review (he burned the cotton without any juice on, comparing to VaporShark rDNA40 and vapor flask v3 clone), but hey for $53 on a 80 wattage box mod, it's still a great deal. When I receive the nickel wire, I will see how well it performs.

Here are some size comparison photos so you can see the difference (sorry I am not a good photographer :) ).

I really like both so if I were you, it's a tough choice. :) If you have any questions or want to perform test on either devices, let me know .
