I have one. I used it as my main vape for a couple of months. Now it's a backup to my Teslacigs Nano Steampunk. Never had any problems with it. I've only used it in wattage mode so I can't say how well TC works on it. I will say it is a major battery hog. That single 18650 doesn't last long when you're running at 50+ watts on a 0.2 ohm coil. Unlike Eskie, my paint got pretty dinged up from pocket carry. Probably because it was in the same pocket as my loose change. Overall, it's not a bad little device. Just have plenty of batteries.

I don't have one. Are you thinking of purchasing one? They have their pros and cons, but if you are looking for a TC device, I'd pay attention to the folks who are saying it may not be the best for that.... Being a battery hog is not really my preference in a mod, honestly, but if you really like it, you can always carry spare batteries (in a protective case, of course). I do think it's a neat looking device, I do understand why people buy smok setups, the do have some appealing options and form factors....

Equally true that you can probably find something similar from another maker that might work out just as well for you. Are you interested in the kit, or just the mod? I have an eleaf pico setup and I do like eleaf's products.... Fairly light but well-built. :)

I have one and it is a great, little device.............when stepping out for short outings!

While I haven't had any scratching issues, I do agree about the short battery life running it at 50+ watts, especially being used to dual battery mods. For me, I would rather carry one of the small dual battery mods then carry any single battery mod and a spare battery.

Now, I have a great, little device that doesn't get a lot of use.

I now have 2 AL85 kits, only issue I have had is tank leak that was from over heating(carried it in a case on hip while welding). Other wise no issues here. It works great for me as an at work device, providing a greater nic rush during the short breaks at work. I use a 70/30 12mg nic juice with the .4 coil at 50-55 watts and get 2days at work out of a battery(spare battery available if needed tho).

Yeah the AL85 is my part time job mod. Fits nice in my pocket while delivering pizza lol. Use the baby beasts on it. Need a bigger tank for it. Suggestions?

Big Baby, same coil larger tank, plus comes with an RBA if you want to build your own.

Oh I have an AL-85 I really love the size of this mod but if you vape higher than 45 watts the wee little battery can't keep up. Honestly never tried it in TC mode maybe I will have to pull it back out and try:) Currently I have been hooked on the Phix I love how small and easy it is to use:)
Ya I vape mine at 40w and the poor battery still struggles.

I have the AL85 kit and Pico 25 kit. Both work fine, and I use wattage mode between 40 and 50w usually.

I prefer the Pico 25 for these reasons:
Vented battery slot makes me feel more comfortable safety-wise.
I like the sliding top on the Pico Ello atomizer more than the swiveling top on the AL85's Baby Beast.
The Pico Ello atomizer fill hole is bigger and it takes a bigger drop tip too.
On the Pico, you can lock out the +/- buttons without also locking the fire button.
Pico can take Arctic Fox firmware if you want to customize more (I'm using it).

The AL85 displays more info on the screen though.
