Not 100% sure. He didn't bring the box with instructions back. How do I check that? I tried clicking the power button in different numbers, 3 and 5, etc..

It is 3 clicks to get into the menu, but those 3 clicks must be when the mod is on. You can also check to see if the mod is on by pressing the up/down buttons at the same time. Even in stealth mode, that should show the lock/unlock icon.

A quick 3 clicks of the firing bar will get you into the menus and you can disable stealth.

Thank you and now I see part of the screen letters, like the first 2 letters are there and the last 2, but everything in the middle is faded. I believe it's a combination of being in stealth mode and the lettering is faded. He probably couldn't see the faded screen and accidentally put it in stealth mode. I still have to figure out exactly where stealth mode is and turn it off but at least there is a clue there to go by. I can read puffs but not what's before it or after it.

First comes up "Mode." Then 2 clicks to "Settings."
I then just let it scroll through twice (no button presses needed) when "stealth" comes up at which time it can be turned on/off.

Bought an AL85 4 days ago, screen no longer turns on since about half an hour. It's not on stealth mode. It's a know issues and youtube is riddled with people showing their broken AL85's. Would not recommend getting one but not everyone has this issues so it's hit or miss. I'm going back to the store tomorrow and see what they'll say there. Might end up getting something else entirely. I can still use it luckily but the screen doesn't work no matter what i do and it turns itself off i don't use for a minute or so.

That locks the device, pressing three times when in stealth mode brings up the menu but if there is no menu after pressing 3 times the screen is just done for.
