Quite a few people in the US sell the 084. As for the carts, the carts are a joke(what can you really expect though when its 84mm) and unless you use a syringe to refill, a pain to refill because it will not soak through. With syringe it fills easy. It does run hot though IMHO.

You are correct, there are many suppliers selling 84's. I purchased my first vape a few weeks back. It was an 84 and what a mistake that was, it was a total piece of crap.

I am working on store credit from the supplier for the second kit I still have, spare parts and cartridges (all unused). Here is a thread warning others of this product and vendor: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...sumers-should-warned-about-34.html#post417037

Side note about this vendor: We are discussing store credit at this time and will update my post regarding him and the outcome of his service once I have more details, but all he has in his store possibly worthy purchasing with the credit (if he gives me credit) is 801/b's, spare parts and liquid. Not sure of the difference between 801/b's and 801/c's, got a shout out to my new supplier for clarification.

I now use a Joye510 and am awaiting my 901 Prodigy which shipped 2 days ago. So far i am pleased with my 510 and will be even more pleased once my PCC arrives for it from http://www.InnoVapor.com. The Prodigy will be strictly for home use mainly due to its size.

My landlord just 'bit' the Smoke Assassin bait.
He had a DSE901 and wasn't happy with atty life.
He's now signed up for the 20 carts per month at $70 ---
Complete with the FREE STARTER KIT
(1 bat, 1 atty and 4 carts which cross their hearts and hope to..... equal 400 puffs/1.5 packs of smokes)

Just illustrates that while you can provide access to info - the general public will still believe mainstream ads..... it's just easier that way.

BTW - apparently SA claims their product is USA made - in Texas - so of course there's none of that 'iffy' Chinese manufacturing involved.

I'll be interested in his experiences/response... and whether or not SA gives him the motivation to check into other options.

I heard their add today and called. The person did go thur it pretty fast, then I found out about the $79.00 a month. That would be cool if I could really quit smoking, so I agreed and ordered the package.
I went to reseach it and found this site and post. After reading this I called back and cancel my order. I do want to quit smoking and like the idea behind this type of product. But after reading this post, I joined the forum tonight when I got home and now looking for some idea's on which device to purchase. Can you by these in stores like Wal-Green's? I haven't seen them there or is the best place to buy online. So what do you all think? Need feed back please.

Thanks,

Madlad

Madlad- check out the New Members Forum, you'll find a wealth of information there. I'm sure there are independent suppliers out and about (not at Walgreens or any drugstore), but your best bet is to find a starter kit online. The suggested starting ecigs are the DSE-901 and the manual 501. I purchased a 501 starter kit for $40 and also bought some spare parts just in case something didn't work and a personal charging case. If you're serious, you should probably invest in a starter kit (with two full ecigs meaning two batteries and two atomizers), two or three extra atomizers, a variety pack of ejuice (so you can find out what you like), a personal charging case so you won't run out of battery power if you're out and about and several packages of empty cartridges.

Yes, at least 2 full e-cigs to start.
No need to buy extra cartridges - you'll get at least 4 with your starter kit. Just buy one starter kit and the extra atomizer.
Actually - Ibelieve there's even a seller that sells a starter kit that includes 2 batteries, a charger, 2 atomizers and the 4 cartridge/mouthpeices.... and maybe a sample bottle of juice.

Reading and watching the videos (See Spikey's intro to vaping- it's long but very good and covers most of what you'll find you need as you get going)
will explain that you can 'refill' your cartridges with nicotine liquid.
There's no need to buy a bunch of extra pre-filled cartridges unless you want to.... they are pre-filled with nicotine juice but do not last long - that's why we refill them with juice of our favorite flavor)

It's a bit expensive to get started - but having at least one spare battery and one spare atomizer are important as neither are made to last forever. Lifespan can be 2-4 weeks and has a lot to do with how much you use your e-cig. (Lite use and sometimes can atomizer can last a couple months)

Once you get going the cost is less than that of buying 'analogs'.

All the best -
Kathy

My apologies for going OT pbusardo.

It is the best, imo.

Listening to it right now! :)

sorry to hijack the thread and make it go OT again, but the best show is the workhorses of sirius/xm...O n A and little jimmy norton :p

back on the original subject, the price for 40 carts at $99 that are SUPPOSED to last up to 1 1/2 packs each?!? ....!

BTW - apparently SA claims their product is USA made - in Texas - so of course there's none of that 'iffy' Chinese manufacturing involved.

Well, now I know what the only other person I ever saw with an e-cig around here has.

She claimed hers was made in Texas. I told her I was pretty sure they were all made in China, and she said "Oh no--they made sure I knew this was an *American* brand."

18006049575, this is the customer service number for smoke assassin, it’s not on their website. At the time of writing this I’d been on hold for 10 minutes. Finally customer service came on the phone and I began to explain the problem with their product- the atomizer stopped working after 2 weeks of use. After explaining to me that they would not send a replacement part after I sent the broken one in (at my expense) I asked to speak with a manager.
Instead of putting me on hold and complaining about how unreasonable, because demanding a defective part be replaced is demanding, I listened to them laugh about how I ‘just started right into it.’ Another 3 minutes someone claiming to be a manager picked up the phone.
After explaining that I don’t appreciate their customer service reps talking and laughing about my complaints I began to explain the problems that have plagued my order since the beginning:

-I ordered the “free” trail with the month supply of cartridges a little more than 2 weeks before Christmas, because of a “customs hold” it did not arrive until a week into the New Year. No notice was given that it would be late, I had to call customer service.

-The order came with a bonus free month supply of cartridges, this was not included in the order. I had to call customer service to get it sent out.

-The Atomizer failed after 10 days to 2 weeks of use.
My father called customer service was called and they told him one would be shipped out and would arrive no later than the following Friday. No notice was given that the part was not or would not be shipped out to us.

-My father called customer service and explained the situation to them, they told him they would not sent out a replacement part until they received the broken part, they claimed this was because he did not have an account with them.

I then explained this has been very frustrating because this was a Christmas gift and I’ve had nothing but headaches from the day I ordered their product, and that I wasn’t willing to send out the defective part until a new one was received. The ‘manager’ explained it wasn’t up to him, it was a company policy, if I or my father had an account it could be done, he would if it were up to him, etc. I explained if they want my father to get and account with them they had to send a new part so he can use up the supply of cartridges he already had.
Finally it came down to I’ve lost faith in your company and unless you do something you will be losing a customer. This meant nothing to him. I will not use or encourage anyone to use their product.

TL;DR: Avoid Smoke Assassin/Smoke assist, they’re the same company with another name. Their products are expensive and cheaply made, their customer service is disrespectful and ineffective, and their business practices consists of strong-arming customers into accounts.

PS- if you do decide this is a product you want be very firm with their sales reps, they outsource sales to a call center that serves companies that do “buyers clubs” and will sign you up for things (for me 4 separate “free offers” that charged my bank account a total for 132 dollars) if you’re not careful.
