So... I have been doing research on buildable tank systems... And had to ask in general to even hear anything about the smoke RSBT.

I like the looks, the metal sheath, the tank size, and the airflow that looks a lot like the aerotank.

So is it a dud or a diamond in the rough? It would be my first rba... But I am not afraid of the process and have help.

If you like a pretty wide-open airflow, you'd love the RSBT. I don't really care for mine that much, although it's a better option for tank crackers than the KFL quartz kit. It's a bit fussy for building, but maybe I just think that because I love my kayfuns; I think someone said that the architecture of it, and the way you build and wick for it, is similar to a taifun? I think? Or maybe it was a fogger. I find it rather leaky; again, used to my kayfuns, which never leak. And the top cap is a real pain to get on, since you have to engage an o-ring and threads at the same time. I tried it first with rayon, never could get it wicked right; it worked better for me with organic cotton.

I've thought of selling mine, but it really is better than the kayfun quartz kit, so I'll probably hang on to it, just for those juices that need glass.

Hello, I really like my RSST and found the best build for it is SS cable with ecowool sleeve and ribon wire. Comes out too 0.8 ohms with 3 wraps. I run it on my mech and on my dna close at 25 watts and its awsome flavor. I also recommend opening the airhole up to 5/64 at least for better airflow.

Overall this build gave me a new found joy from my first genny.
