It can contribute. The biggest deciding factor here is voltage to resistance of coil determines your wattage or heat the coil reaches. So warmer coils can produce more vapor at lower volts where higher ohm coils need more voltage to reach a similar temp. A variable volt or variable wattage adjusting device you can play around in this area of enough heat for flavor and vapor production to be just right to getting to hot, burning to fast and not getting enough liquid to the coil to burn fast enough you start scorching what liquid is being burned to rapidly. There is a narrow window of where this is at. Standard set voltage like an Ego basic battery is 3.3v so a 1.5 to 1.8 ohm coil will produce the hottest vape, 2.0-2.2 ohm a mid range temp vape, 2.5 ohm a cool vape, 3.0 ohm, not enough vape. Hope that helps a bit.

Sure it does. It's a culmination of everything, together. A high resistance atomizer on a mechanical mod for example, even with 100% VG would produce less vapor than a low res atomizer. Additionally, a Rebuildable tends to produce more vapor than a dripping atomizer or a cartomizer (for me anyway).

But the real question is how important is vapor production to you? For me, I like the clouds, but flavor and throat hit are more important so, though vapor production is a factor, it's certainly not the deciding factor for me.

If vapor production is the most important aspect to you, just get an RBA built to .7/.8 ohms and run 100% VG (boba's bounty!!)...you'll fill a room rather quickly :p

I really don't care that much about throat hit, I'm more of a vapour guy. My big thick clouds come with 80+% VG juice, a lower ohm coil and good air flow. Not the best vapour production out there, but this is a picture I just had handy from a drag on my IGO-L
