hey there is a stand at the mall that sells smoke51. They let me try it, it seemed cool like a real cig. the price is pretty high tho. I believe their atomizers are within the cartridges and are replaceable. So u dont have to worry about cleaning it.

Anyone ever try this or recommend it? Im lookin at other brands too.. The peewee from puresmoker. Anyone have any ideas or comments?

I took a look at their website - I see that their cartridge has an atomizer built in. I know people think that that is the future, but I think it is wasteful. They are also really expensive. For the price of the two battery starter kit you could get 3 901 starter kits. Additional batteries are $50! That is the price of most starter kits! Even the Kissbox is less expensive than this company's product.

Their compare page is also filled with lies and half-truths.

I find this company offensive. I would buy from Puresmoker, Litecig, Jane, or Katy, or Janty. Don't give them your money.

Just my opinion.

Hi Paladinx!
I just saw at the pharmacy smoke51 too! I've been buying from puresmoker for a few months & will continue to do so, but it was great to see e-cigs at a pharmacy..
I was about to tell others they can buy locally instead of on-line..but now I'm not so sure when read Frazzle's post..

what are 901's? Is that from puresmoker.com? IM pretty new to this gadgetry. There are alot of brands and types to choose from. The only one I ever tried was the smoke51 at the mall, and it felt like a real cigarette. If i bought from smoke51. I would get the parts seperately. Even then its expensive. If i got a battery, charger and catridges by themselves it would cost like 80 dollars. And their nicotine is 8mg. I have no idea how much that is. or what it means. I smoke cigarettes. So iw ould like to get something similar to a cigarette nicotine level, but a little less.

Just to give an update on smoke51. The girl i am talking to there seems very helpful. She gave me the 50 dollar discount code, and gave me an ingredient list of their cartridges.

What she said was their 8mg cartridge is the equivalent of a marlboro red, the 6mg a marlboro light, i think 2 or 4mg was the ultra light, and the 0 nicotine. But on this forum i see alot of people talking about 16mg catridges, and 32 mg's. How could their 8mg be as strong as a marlboro then?

For $50 you can get an entire starter kit from one of the suppliers on this forum. She's just like SOME car salesmen, don't know squat about the product. 32mgs refers to the high strength bottle of nicotine liquid. My starter kit came with a variety of nicotine level cartridges. Then you can see what you like best. My last cigarette 2 weeks ago was a Marlboro Ultra Light and I'm using the 11mg cartridge which works for me.

Hey--you asked about the Peewee from Puresmoker, and I can help you there. I have an identical model from NJOY, the NPRO. If you decide to go that route, I'd definitely order from puresmoker.com (I got ripped off pretty bad on NJOY, I think). It's a good model, especially if it's important to you that your device look like a real cigarette. This model is known as the "supermini" or "RN4081" as well--you should be able to find more information with a thread search.

I haven't tried smoke51 or loongtotem style, but it seems like, cost-wise, chucking atomizers out with spent cartridges is just a bad financial decision at the moment. Also, one big tip I have is that just about every pre-filled cartridge out there tastes awful (the ones i've had, anyway). Have a look around the forum, and find yourself a few cheap bottles of e-juice you think you'll like.

As for nicotine, I recommend starting low and working your way up--check out this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/health-safety-e-smoking/3598-nicotine-safety.htmlhttp://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/health-safety-e-smoking/3598-nicotine-safety.html

(Working off my bad karma here, Kate...)

It seems the nicotine works differently for everyone. I smoked 50-60 lights cigs a day so I started with medium and that didn't do anything for me. I was still craving analogs like mad. Then I went to high and that didn't cut it for me either. Still craving too many analogs. I really just don't think I was getting enough nic. I have just ordered some 36mg...that should do the trick :p

Besides, I have some no nic if I need to cut it.

But I see others start out lower. I also see others start out higher then go lower (maybe I'll be able to do that someday?). I think those who quit smoking the first time they picked up an e-cig were really lucky they found that right "mix". Hopefully I'll find mine.

Just be really careful if you're playing with anything higher than 18, and here's why.

You probably smoked once every 30 minutes or so as an analog smoker.

Vaping, for most people, is different--there's no way of really knowing when you're 'done with a cigarette' so many people vape for 30 minutes or an hour straight. Do this with 36mg nicotine juice, and unless you smoked 5+ packs a day, you will knock yourself out pretty quickly, and may even need a trip to the hospital.

Just trying to be helpful--don't want people hurting themselves. Check out the link in the previous post, if you haven't already.

One thing that you will find is that there are many many lies in the e-cig industry. A single charged battery will last a week, one cartridge is the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes. Completely safe. Legal to smoke anywhere, etc...

I don't believe that 8mg is equivalent to smoking Marlboro Reds. Based on what I read on the Smoking 51 website I don't think I would believe them if they told me that the sun sets in the west.

Yes, there is a lot of misinformation about esmoking.

The problem here is that you've been looking at disposable atomiser cartridges Paladin. I don't know how nicotine is measured in them but for ordinary juice it is mg per ml (except for Johnson Creek which is mg per 1.2ml).

Some people say a Loong Totem disposable cartridge lasts for a day and some only get a few hours. Some can be refilled a couple of times and some can't.

a day? They are saying one cartridge is like two packs. who knows. I don't know. Ill be honest with you, after reading this forum, I am getting more discouraged about trying E-cigarettes. Everything seems to be inconsistent, a hassle, and everyone seems to make complaints about every product lol. Either they dont get enough smoke, their batteries die, the atomizers get clogged. Plus no one really knows how safe these things really are. I might just buy snus, and try that method of quitting smoking. seems a lot easier and less of a hassle.

My two cents:
I'm 20, been smoking marlboro menthols since I was 14.
For about 2 years since I turned 18, I have been smoking 1-3 packs a day fluctuating, and I got my penstyle yesterday.
I started with the low nic cartridge, and it was ok, then switched to the high and it was great!
Then, as previously said, i puffed on it for a good while and got a bad stomach/headache.
I switched to taking it easy and once I got used to the e-cig and how it felt I tried the lower dosages and felt the exact same. Been puffing on a no nic cart since 3.30 now and I still haven't wanted a real cig since.
If you thunk snus would work better for you, then by all means go for it. But for me it was the act of oral fixation/nic that "got me off".
