I don't want to rain on your parade but that shop didn't do you no favors. They set you, a beginning vaper, up with a very advanced set up. There is a lot of safety related information you need to learn. I would suggest you step back and get a regulated mod and a tank. You can always save your current set up for when you get more experience. Personally, I wouldn't go back to that shop. If you decide to keep what you have you need to start reading all you can about battery safety, Ohm's law and coil building. Those things can be very dangerous if you don't know what your doing.

Congrats on the quitting! this IS doable! same here, my guy and I quit, he was a 40+ year 2PAD+ smoker, and me proably close to 30 years 1PAD and 2PAD at the end of my smoking career. But from day one with the vape, I told myself this is doable! none of those nasty nicotine withdrawl crazies, etc. you know. and I'd tried to quit so many times, and had gone from 5 years to a few days in lengths. I know if I make it five years again, it'll be a vape if I"m not still vaping, I buy instead of a pack of ciggies.

the first week we still had a couple a day, but they suddenly got "nasty" yeah!!!

Almost 3 months in, every once in awhile I get a craving and grabe the vape. I keep an 18mg (as I'm on 12mg now, tried 6mg ..too soon sadly to cut back) but a couple drags off of that and I'm good.

these forums are great, nice folks, supportive and informative.

Best of luck to you!!! You can do it!!

Hey, Andru, and welcome! :)

You will find plenty of info here to keep you reading for days and days. :p I'd look up "Vape Blast" in San Antonio to see what happened there a couple of weeks ago because a person didn't know what he ought to know. We really do want you to "hang" with us, but safety is our first concern. Obviously I agree with Joesquid's advice. :)

With that being said, I want to know just WHO started that RUMOR about saving money?!!!!

You will be able to quit the cigarettes once and for all by vaping. I smoked 2+ packs a day and could not quit until I tried vaping. After my first hour I said to myself, I can do this. After 64 days of vaping I had a very bad day at work and thought I needed a real cigarette. I smoked 3 and got a taste I never want to taste again, sickening putrid want to vomit taste. I smoked for 43 yrs and tried every way to quit, nothing worked until vaping. Hang in there it will work for you.

Congrats! Its a great feeling when you officially convert to e-cigs. It took me about 3 weeks to completely covert. I had my last analog on March 11th 2014. I couldn't even imagine going back now. Oddly, I would have thought I would need to vape Tobacco flavored e-juice start, but really enjoyed the sweet, fruity, custards, etc. Now, a 1/2 year later, I am back to loving Tobacco flavors.

You will be suprised how your taste buds will change. At least for me, the first month or so, My taste buds were numb, and I could only taste really sweet, rich flavors (like 503 Caramel Apple Pie), but suddenly it changes, and you will either start to hate some flavors you started with, or really love them, because you can taste all those little nuances that you didn't catch before. Changing voltages/watts can really change flavors as well.

    Congrats!!

So, I picked up a mod on Monday and immediately cut back on my cigarette intake. I smoked my last one this morning.
I've been a smoker for more than 40 years and after numerous attempts to b a former smoker I feel like I finally found something that will work.
    Wish me luck!

These are some of my favorite threads on the forum. Luck doesn't come in to it Andru82, you've made the decision, now go get it! (but good luck anyway lol)

So welcome to the ECF, best place for information and support for vapers by vapers :toast:

I was a 25 year PAD smoker, I've not smoked for 18 months now - not one, not even a puff...

    You can do this.

Good for you. You can do it! I was a heavy smoker for over 40 years like you. I'm coming up on 9 months without cigarettes.:)
