I looked to see if anyone posted this before, but it doesn't look that way. I don't know if anyone caught Rendell talking about the sorry state of this State as far as infrastructure this week.

He made the comment that 70% of the constituents support taxing smokeless and how every other state is doing it. Bend over, here they come. tobacco will save the country, as long as we users don't run out of money first. :nah:

    Somewhere between here and there
I know we can't avoid it forever but I have enough snus for at least for a year and snuff for much longer. Right now the tax on smokeless is supposed to be ten percent in my state. I don't like it but there isn't a lot I can do about it right now. I can bet that there will be a few politicians out of work soon though.

Why is tobacco NOT considered a natural herbal remedy???? Anything else botanical under the sun is...

That's exactly what it is in my world. Unfortunately, I guess any anti's that may have ventured into it were probably eaten by the monsters that also inhabit it...........

Well...since the mayor of philly started talking about taxing drinks with sugar....we may all be screwed...again. Next thing you know anything with fat in it will be taxed, or here...let's jack alcohol taxes some more...or wait...let's setup a fast food tax....ugh.

It's all just ridiculous. Really...you want to tax chocolate milk? How unamerican.
