Kate... what Nuck is getting at is his comments were meant as an attempt at sarcastic humor.. having noted that i thought they were mildly funny but can see how they got misconstrued.. and i far from blame you from being angered by the association in the article..

It's only clear to someone in the market to be offended. If you can't see the sarcasm dripping in that statement you have worse issues than being easily offended.

Since this is the second time he's linked homosexuals with paedophiles I think there's something in the way he thinks that enjoys that link.

a) someone incapable of using a keyboard

In fact, here is my response in a thread dealing with gay adoption:

"The adoption issue he brought up is pretty touchy even with some who are otherwise ok with gay marriage (or unions). Personally I think that any kid that has 2 supportive parents in a stable relationship is really damn lucky but I do understand that others may have issues with it. Social evolution is a long process."

Hardly the response you'd expect from the intolerant bigot Kate is desperately trying to paint me as. Not sure what her motivation and to be honest..I don't really care

I could easily see how that statement could be misinterpreted. You still are not doing anything to diffuse the situation... Get it? You just continue to add fuel. ok good! that would have really bothered me , and i really enjoy both you and kate. i learned long ago not to try to break up a fight between friends (tried it once and i almost got punched! 8-o ).

however if its a friend vs someone i don't like, i DO then enjoy jeering and getting an occasional jab in.
