Okay guys i stepped up and got a smoketech sid and a nimbus rda with some efest 2650 mah batteries and some ultra fire 4000 mah batteries with a cheap 4.2v charger. All from ebay and all of it got shipped within 3 days awesome right? Well i charged all the batteries up and made 2 3.0 ohm coils for the nimbus with .32 kanthal with folded over 3mm ecowool. For one day it was working good using this setup with the efest battery and set at 4.6v Then today hardly would smoke at all. then no matter what i put on it evod protank nimbus is said short. So i was thinking battery right so i checked with meter and at 6.0v setting it only puts out 3.8-4.0v what the hell.
The ebay seller does not do returns but hopefully will let me send this one in and give me another one. Any thoughts?

If you bought the batteries from Ebay, your problem is most likely that the batteries are junk. With the SiD you need high drain IMR batteries. I'm almost certain the "fire" batteries have a protection chip that will prevent the SiD from working properly.

Try using AW, Panasonic, Sony or Samsung batteries. Do a little snooping around ECF to find reviews of recommended batteries.

Sometimes what seems like a good deal can cost more than it's worth in the end.

I was using 2650 mah efest unprotected batteries. The 4000 mah surefire batteries died with in 3 hours lmao. Any ways the seller give me a full refund. So now im over the fancy mods and am going to start building my own mechanical mods using protected battery and button.
I Have access to a full machine shop at work and im a okay fabricator so we will see what i can come up with.

Ha i went to radioshack and got a small project box a push button and a c sized battery holder and a small panel mount led. all for like 11 bucks and i got some resistors for the leds. Anyways i built this contraption last night staying up to 1.30 am when i had to go to work at 6am that sucked but the killer vape i got to enjoy all day made it worth it. i did use the 4k mah ultra fire protected battery yes just one and wrapped a 1.5 ohm coil in my evod tank. Oh yeah i used a battery connector from a vv 1000 mah battery that died when i sat on it pulling the top off and all its wiring out. anyways cheap box mod is bad ... and works great for cheap. Highly recommended To All Looking for big vape without hassle of for you tinkerers like me. If i was not so lazy today i would post pics maybe another day lmao.

VAPE ON GUYS!!!!
