Your Leo compared to the Smoke Tip will be like night and day LOL I started out with a SmokeTip but thanks to ECF I found bigger batteries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks DawnH. what are you using currently? I would like to eventually move into the mods once I am comfortable with all the new terminology and gather some more information on what and how I will accomplish it.

I bought a manual 510 and loved it. Hated that they didn't last very long and now use a Riva. I like the fact that all my 510 parts can also be used on my Riva. I believe the SmokeTip is an 808 and if you have ALOT of cartomizers, you might want to find a bigger battery to use with them. Otherwise, I got an 808/510 adapter and was able to use my cartomizers. I also saved a bunch and let my friends try my SmokeTip to get them started. Look into a manual 808 if you want to stay small, or see if they make a bigger battery with the 808 threads. I'm sure someone here can help you out, I would, but I have to go to work and won't be home til late! Best of luck to you!

First I'd go to STs site and look under the Help tab...review their manual for any tips they may have. Don't hesitate to contact them and tell them the issue. They stand behind their guarantee.

Also, the KR808d1 style will go out after 2-3 hrs if you are a heavy vaper (I am). I have at least 4 bats so three are always charged and ready to go. I just ordered the PigCig by Lecig b/c I like the 808 but wanted a longer battery.

I am a huge fan of Smoketip just based on their customer service. You will not find better customer service and they will take care of you. The problem is the carts that come with their starter kits are not very good. They told me they are going to pack them differently. Their refills are always good, but I bought two starter kits on Black Friday because they were buy 1 get one free and the 6 carts they come with were all crappy. They replaced them. Their batteries definitely do not last very long, but they have a lifetime warranty on them and they stand by that as I have sent them back before. I'm trying to save money and find a similar juice, but I cannot find any. Their menthol is awesome.

Smoketip is a KR808D-1 isn't it? I don't have any problem with mine. Mine is from Vapor4Life (ther Vapor King). I use manual battery. I think their standard battery is 280mah and their xl might be 350 or 380mah so they are definitely decent batteries for a mini. The shorty batteries have a more super-mini type battery life, maybe 180mah?

Some e-cigarettes, if you drag really long have a cut off and won't let you vape again for 10-30 seconds. And I think when a carto isn't vaping well tipping it in different directions might wet the internal atty better. KR808D-1 is the most popular carto model and I have not really ever heard of problems after 10 drags.

One other thing - if you got auto batteries you may need to take a short puff to warm the atty a bit and then take your real drag, at least that's what some do with 3-piece auto e-cigs so maybe 2-piece too.

How long is your whole e-cigarette with battery and carto? 118mm,110mm,100mm are the 3 e-cig lengths for a KR8 - that's for xl, standard, shorty.
