They are getting all hyped over e cigs but lets take a look at some other products potentially more harmful and stupid.

And then theres the NICOHALE. A 4 lb machine that uses aromatherapy to give a nicotine rush.

hyperdeficit: I've read a couple of posts you've made this evening and I think you are under the misapprehension that the FDA are reacting to the news: It was the FDA who made the news (they conducted tests and made a press release).

If I've misunderstood what you've said, I apologise.

Color me crazy....but has the FDA checked into Hookah smoking devices that are imported into this country? Have they run tests on the shisha that is used in these devices? We have many hookah bars in my area that allow 18+ year olds to hang out and smoke. It is also coined as "water vapor" and herbs, etc.

I heard a while back they were doing clinical trials for a nicotine vaccine in another country. Maybe I can find some info.

If you google it you'll find tons of info. It's actually being developed in Florida and hasn't been released yet, not until 2012. Here is where I found that information.

I have no beef with Nicorette. I used it for awhile and never had any ill effects. I simply wasn't able to remove myself completely from analogs with it.

Got a good laugh there BigJimW! Thanks . Whats even funnier is imagining living a clean, healthy lifestyle that the anti (enjoying life) people advocate. To some of them the not recommending reuse of them would be bogus. Its called recycling, duh!

I had 2 friends that went on Chantix at the same time back in Feb. They were 'quit buddies'. Neither one of them vomited, instead, they got the gas. And they both were totally opposite. Horrifying what happened to them, but luckily they took it in stride and they can now laugh about it.

WARNING: fart story coming. Not to offend, but to relay this tragic, yet funny story and I will try to tell it in the kindest of words.....

Friend 1 developed the type of gas that was silent, but very, very deadly. Friend 2 got the loud, odorless kind. The only thing the two had in common is escape always came without warning.
On one unfortunate day, they had to work a flight together at the gate. Within moments of each other, exiting occured. And of course, due to the sound, everyone thought that Friend #2 was the cause of the horrible odor that basically cleared out the desk area. Seeing the look on the customer's faces, and knowing everyone thought it was #2 - #1 at one point had to excuse herself and go in a side office where she laughed so hard she almost wet herself. Luckily, these girls are great friends and #1 knew exactly where her friend had gone and why LOL

That was the final straw & they never took a Chantix again.

My wife took Chantix and I had to Baker Act her, sledge hammer to doors and walls, etc., wanted to kill herself and anyone around her, she flipped out that bad, NEVER TAKE Chantix. On E-Cigarettes I (see sig) have quit, she has cut to 6 to 8 a day from over a pack a day, no ill affects, WE LOVE OUR 510's

I can only think of two things that the laxx in nicolaxx can stand for. Either they are implying it is extremely relaxing to use or it is a laxative.

I would also like to see someone have a nicotine fit while using this..
