I actually have never had smoking dreams..
but unlike what
@stols001 said, almost 20 years in, I'm still healthy in my dreams.. It's the one and only place I can escape being disabled, so I hope it never changes.
That said cravings for nicotine can creep up on you if your not getting enough, and even after you've been quit smoking for years your body still sees cigarettes as the answer.
I quit nicotine last February, and last November the cravings hit fairly hard. Apparently it took a while for my body to start feeling ripped off.. but what my body/mind/addiction began screaming for wasn't
eliquid, even though Ive been
vaping nearly 5 years, it was cigarettes.
Now, I can vape through the cravings with zero nicotine no problem, similar to when I initially made the switch to
vaping, but it's still a cigarette that my body sees as the appropriate answer to the issue of having no nicotine.
How we dream is likely individual, just as how we process addiction or our past is as well I'm sure.
