It looks like the smoking everywhere e cig has a pretty bad rep. Anybody had any positive experiences? I ordered the smoking everywhere gold before I did my research, & with the return poilicy, it looks like I'll be stuck with it. I haven't even recieved it yet, so I'll have to give it a go. I'm hearing the cartridges that come with it don't last very long. I'm interested in the liqued. How does that work? Do I just put a couple drops in the cartridge? Can I do that with the cartridges it comes with? This is new to me an I'm very confused. Any feedback would be appreciated..

the rn4081 (which is what i think it is) is a pretty average beginner cig at best. the carts dont hold much and are a little difficult to fill, but can pop off the end of the cart and take out the piece that holds the polyfill which makes it easier. i had a little trouble with the batteries (but i drip). I had the njoy model and replaced atomizers several times when i first started. since then i have moved to the 901 and am pretty happy about the change so far

Nothing wrong with the SE Gold, except that it's a bit overpriced. Now that you have it, you can kiss SE good bye. The SE Gold is a model RN4081. Parts are inexpensive.

No, the carts don't last long. Liquid is the way to go. You get the juice and fill your own rather cheaply. There is a group dedicated to this model with lots of helpful people. We can keep you running until you decide to keep it or move on to something else. The 4081 Forum is here;

I went to the board for the RN4081 and I can't seem so access the board. I can read but I can't post. I guess what I'm wondering, is how to use the liquid with the cartridges? I ordered 2 extra boxes of cartridges with the RN4081 so I will have 10 to get started. I am wondering if I can reuse those cartridges more than one.. I don't know where the liquid goes..

I would suggest you do the best you can with this model device and learn what you can from the few members who still use it such as Jim. I'm sure they can be helpful.

When you are ready for your second PV (personal vaporizer) I would suggest moving to a manual switch PV like the majority have. They are much easier to use, less hassle and more consistent. The 510, the MANUAL (not auto) DSE901, the Prodigy, Screwdriver, GG, Super T, Janty Stick, etc are some of the ones to look at when you are ready.

Good Luck

You can't post threads until you have 15 posts. It's a Forum guard against spammers. After 15 posts you're good to go.

The first thread in the 4081 forum is for questions from those who cant post threads yet. Post any questions in that thread.

Juice;

You reuse your old cartridges. Use a paperclip to insert in the mouthpiece end and push up the innersleeve. That will expose the fiber. Drop the juice on the fiber until it's soaked, and push your atomizer back on. You're good to go. I don't know all the juice suppliers. I ordered a large amount months ago, and haven't checked all the suppliers since then, but I can give you a few links to the ones I know of. Others can jump in and give you more.

The ones I know are;
Johnson Creek Original Smoke Juice - The Best E-Liquid in the World - Made Right Here in America
Welcome to www.addictionejuice.com
e-liquid|e-juice|e-cigarette liquid series
www.goodprophets.com : 36mg Liquid

These are a few. There are many more. Get a high nicotine level, and we can talk about cutting it to your desired level. Cutting it gives you more, so that's a good thing. That should keep ya going for a while. Any other questions, just ask. there's a lot of good folks here to help.

Cheers;
jd

FWIW I am a newb using a smoking everywhere gold and It's been working fine, especially with all the amazing info I've found here on this forum. Just offering my opinion that they are not horrible pieces of crap (necessarily, keeping in mind this is my first e-cig). My girlfriend is having a few more consitency problems, but I can usually solve them.

I've been using the rn4081 daily for several months now with no notable issues. Definitely invest in a few more batteries to add to your rotation, a few extra attys, and find some blank double-size cartridges, and you'll be a very happy vaper! I've been experimenting with several brands of eliquid, having had bad experiences with the various "tobacco-flavored" import juice. Johnson's Creek and Cloud 9 have been exceptional. I have several trial size fluids from Vermont Vapor on the way that I am looking forward to. All of these are made in the US.

Well I have to say that I was assuming the worst from what I had read here and heard from people directly but as a matter of fact... I love the little bugger I just got.

My old NCig went out on me, and before I had gotten it all figured out with the help of some peops... my Dad, bless his soul, had run to the mall where he saw the 'Smoking Everywhere' Kiosk and picked me up a 'Gold Edition'.

I was speechless, and thought that things couldn't be worse - but to be honest - so far I love this thing! It has superior vapor, Ridiculous battery life for such a small battery, and refills could not be easier. Well perhaps the atomizers that are exposed to where you can just 'dip' are easier.

In short, I can absolutely give these little red devils a good review so far. Overpriced? Oh heck yes. I about freaked out when I heard the sticker price Dad payed - $109.00, BUT as far as being stuck with it? I'm good :) Cheap parts too!

Take care and happy no-smokin!
- Hap

They're really a decent starter cig. They give you a chance to learn the ropes. I'd say about 10% keep them, and the other 90% move on to something else.
And the ones that move on usually put them away for back up. You never know what will happen.
I somewhat moved away. I'm making my own juice, and using box mods and home made passthroughs, but I'm still sticking with the 4081 atomizers. They're tough little guys, and I bought a ton of em.

That SE cig was my first, though to this day, I never have found out the model it was actually supposed to be. I agree with the previous posts.... great beginner "tool". I quit analogs the minute I got this in the mail. Was pretty happy with it, too, considering I was never going back to the real ones...

I started reading this forum after my purchase, which was online btw, they don't sell or won't sell in our malls here anywhere (northeast/ midwest USA).

From the start, there were problems... (b/o, order sent never rcvd, wrong tracking numbers, etc, etc. ) The item I finally received after a great deal of hair-pulling with "customer service", I use the term loosely, I did rather enjoy for a short while. Hated the flavors of carts, but then, when in need....

I "smoked" this exclusively for a week realizing I needed something more reliable. Ordered my first M401, juice, good thing it arrived in time! The SE "gold" as they say caught on fire in my hands literally (not the battery, the atomizer). That was with their cartridges only. Good thing I had a pair of forceps on my desk right in front of me when it happened to unscrew the dxxn thing from the battery. Was hoping to save the unit since I'd spent so much on it. But no-one was able to identify their parts, etc.

I think mine was some kind of "cross-over" they were experimenting with at the time due to so many customer complaints, etc., etc., no part for this order, well then throw another part in there for the meantime type deal.

I do hope your experience with this company is much more pleasurable than mine. I'm sure you will find so much information to you on these boards that you won't know when to quit reading! I haven't yet! :)

Aw thanks so much guys!! I really appreciate the quick responses. I have been looking around online and i am having the darndest time finding liquid in stock.. There must be a jump on e cigs right now.. :)
Excellent juices (eliquids) at Vapor4life.com 28 different flavors available, and plenty in stock. 0mg-36mg available in 20ml and 30ml sizes. $12.95 a bottle and is a USA supplier. Ships very quickly (2-3 business) days. May also want to try their Vapor King. It is a two piece unit (atomizer built into the cart). Very easy to use. Dont have to take anything apart to refill (just drip directly into cartomizer hole). Excellent throat hit and vapor output. Excellent PV for the beginner and/or seasoned vapor. They have a full starter kit with LOTS of xtras included for $72.00 with a 20% off sale using coupon code: SMILIN20. Comes with a USB passthru and PCC ! ! ! Cant beat that ! ! ! Check em out. They also have a forum here. Go and read all the posts and reviews. Havent a seen a bad post yet. I have been using the Vapor King since July 28th and simply LOVE IT ! ! !

I am going to post a brief echo of what I just said elsewhere...

I want to be sure to give serious Kudos to the gentleman at the SE Kiosk inside Battlefield Mall in Springfield, MO and here is why:

The atomizer went out in my unit after just under a week of use. Took it back today and he didn't even blink at replacing the atty, threw in a second one and a pack of Coffee carts for my troubles.

Sat back and vaped away for a half hour shooting the breeze over the court decision on e-cigs, and other stoofs in general.

Take care,
- Hap

I agree, although I am a new at this as well. I am using the smoking everywhere platinum 24mg and I am not having problems either, except that I did not buy enough cartridges to start as I didn't know if it was going to work. It has for the past three days. I don't even want a regular smoke.

If you update your profile, and add your location, you may find neighbors close by. There might be local suppliers in your town too.

Hi everyone.

I'm completely new to all this, and just got me SE Gold starter kit today. I'm charging the battery now. Ran out of nicotine gum two days ago, (went through a box of 110 pieces in 4 days). Smoked for 30 years, and I'm looking forward to kicking that bad habit once and for all.

Now that I've got this interesting thing on my desk...any advice, or tips for a novice on using this particular model, or e-cigs in general?
