Hey , been vaping for about 3 weeks now and 2 weeks off of analogs no

cravings for one either I love my 901 I got from Steve Puresmoker.com

just thought I'd say hi to all you people great forum been reading it for

weeks now . Almost ready to go for a second e-cig possibly a pen style

was thinking about a 801 with manual switch from Ecigmall , or a pilot

from PS but I'm really liking the idea of the manual switch . Anyone have

any opinions?? Thanks ..... Tom

Tom, only had my 901 for a few days now...already thinking about that next model...lol
considering a penstyle with a USB passthru myself for home use, and the 901 with bats while out and about. Like you, I'm also leaning towards a manual switch on the passthru (ala Bastage's usb mod) Gonna have to hunt around a bit and see if I can find one, or if I'm stuck engineering one of my own.

PartySmoker has a complete kit with usb-passthrough and manual switch. But it might not be the price you have in mind (does include batterypack also). I've been using it a few months now; and for me it's doing a very good job. Look for the uPSb and the uPSb-europe deluxe on their site, if you want to look-see. (The europe deLuxe in fact holds all on the pictures of both devices; it's own picture is just showing the extra's on top of the uPSb europe standard so it looks weird).
PARTYSMOKER HARDWARE (two pictures bottom right are the deluxe and the standard upsb).
Big advantage to these passthroughs, I think: the usb-wire not only plugs in at the side of the batterypack, but also plugs in at the cig-battery-side. Meaning the wire can easily be switched if something is wrong with it; you won't be pulling out the inside of the pass-through this way (I did have a few wires go broken in the beginning; not getting that happen anymore so seems to be adjusted; but switching them was just a matter of unplugging one wire and plugging in the next, and of course only the wire needed swapping, not the whole passthrough.)

A manual switch adds another dimension to the vaping experience, it makes for a much more enjoyable vape in my opinion.

Kate, not to hijack this thread in a different direction, but your comment interested me. What is the difference between the auto and manual switches? Why is a manual switch more enjoyable to you? BTW, I have a KB Extended on order (I know that you love yours). Thanks.

Hi Breakfast. I do like my Kissbox but am reluctant to recommend it because it has it's problems like everything else and I wouldn't want anyone to be disappointed. If you can get your technique right with it I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

With an auto switch you activate the atomiser by drawing. Sometimes this is easy or hard and the atomiser doesn't heat until after you draw so there is a delay in vapour being produced. Primer puffs can help with this.

With a manual switch you get used to pressing the switch as you raise the device to your mouth. The atomiser is hot already when you draw so there is vapour immediately and you do not have to draw hard to get the vapour.

Now that I'm used to a manual switch I find it irritating to use automatic ones. Sometimes you have to draw until your cheeks hurt with them too.
