so im a little confused the green battery that ships with the smoktech bolt i dont know if the battery is protected or not i dont see the green battery on any website and smoktechs website says its not protected so i dont know :/

I think the consensus is that the green-wrapped "smok" battery actually IS protected. Not 100% sure, but...about 99.9. You won't find that battery on websites because it's a "run" of batteries manufactured/printed specifically for Smoktech, I think.
Curious...when you say "ships with", do you mean it was included with your Bolt, and didnt have to be purchased separately ? Would ya mind mentioning where you got it from?

I got my Bolts from CCV. They both included the smok green battery at no additional charge. The CCV website specifically says they are protected 1600 mah batteries.
