Hi there,

I am interested in purchasing some of the Smoktech DCT Carto tanks but have some worries in regards to the juice I use. I primarily use 100% VG juice and have read that the DCT can't really handle the thicker juice. Is this true? Other than modding the carto with a bigger/extra hole, would adding a drop or two of distilled water solve the issue?

I've just began using cartos and really enjoy them, other than the fact that I don't like not being able to see how much juice is left in the carto, enter the DCT.

Any help is appreciated!

It kind of depends on which juice vendor you use, I think. Virgin Vapors juice wouldn't have a problem in a DCT, I don't believe Alien Visions juices would, either. They formulate them already thinner. And yes, you can thin with a few drops of distilled water or vodka. You might get better/more answers over in the Hardware forums

Hi there.

It's me in your story. I mainly use Smoktech DC with nearly 100% VG. I said nearly because I put a little vodka into my liquid to make it a little thinner.

I have a package stucked somewhere at customs, so I must do anything to protect my very last two cartos. I clean one every night with vodka and use the other the next day, then clean and use the other, and two of my very last Smoktech DC cartos have been working on my Ego T continuously for 15 days nearly like new.

You can estimate juice in carto, about 4ml (80 drops) for the firstime, and after that about 40-60 drops would fullfill it. The polyfill's structure will somewhat change after each time you fill a carto.
