I'm vaping on that box right now lol box itself works great in wattage and mech modes luckly I have no desire to use the temp control so I guess I'm lucky in that department , also have had no other problems with it at all no malfunctions etc... Maby I'm one of the lucky ones with my box...fingers crossed
Been vaping on the XCube II all week using TC with a nickel coil in a Freemax Starre Pro and the TC definitely works exactly as it should. Temp climbs as you vape and once it hits the preset temp, the power gets cut, the temp drops, and the power comes on again.

Everything works just sucks everything looks like I've beat it up for a year already out of the case lol
I'd take pics and PM them to Smokey Joe and Innnokin Ash. Probably won't do any good but at least they'll have some idea what went on. All a matter of CYA

Testing after the latest firmware upgrade, with actual temp reading and what not.

The actual testing starts at around 07:20

This was a very informative video. Now it makes me wonder what is included with the Xcube II. I have Titanium wire on the way. I wonder if I'll have to pay for the upgrades for the different types of wire. It seems if the mod comes without TC, it would be $2.99 for the app, .99 for titanium, and .99 for Stainless steel.

The insert cutouts were actually cut to small for all but two batteries so I guess they just popped right out

So they weren't pressed into foam inserts in the case?

Not that big a deal I tagged innokin_ash in a post in the disruptor thread to let him know and emailed the lady at innokin to let her know but otherwise not a huge issue still love the mod and batteries but I am disappointed they didn't include any extras like the contest said they would

I hope you took pictures of it before you took them all out, then again afterwards. Not having "the extras" would be disappointing.

I purchased my mod from VaporDNA, so it came with temp control enabled. The titanium profile was 49 cents (although someone else posted that if you upgrade the firmware to the latest version, it supposedly includes the titanium profile unlocked. The stainless steel profile just came out two days ago and that was priced at 99 cents.

No I didn't take pics thought about it but figured it was free so not a big deal if I would have paid for the stuff would of been a whole different story lol

I doubt they would have gotten the response they did if they advertised "We're going to send you a suitcase full of scratch and dent gear! Look for the stuffed extras that won't be included!"

I didnt even realise there was other ways to win, i only knew about the competion because of a link shared through facebook

Anytime they have a contest in the global thread, post in it and keep an eye open , they have run sub contests twice in a row now, gave out 50 to ECF members just from the thread.

Just realized.......That was the Show case for the convention. Possibly a lot of handling all week to. Bumps and bruises:?:

It may very well have been. When I saw it my first thought was "salesman briefcase". But you also have to look at the advertisement viewpoint, Nice shiny cared for equipment would now be having pictures posted all over the internet. One single thread here with pictures here would have gotten hundreds if not a thousand views, and quite possibly sold many more units. Now all we get to look at are scratched equipment which will make people wonder if all their gear is delivered this way. "And no extras".
