Of all the insulting pieces of mail...all I got today was an AARP registration form!
At least they sent you a registration form.. they didn't even bother sending the form to my husband, they just outright sent him the card!

Worst is my dad, he so fn stubborn!!! He used to be tech savvy and still sort of is, once I offered him my wifes old pc which was a AMD A10-5800k Quad core with 12GB 1866mhz ram +100gb SSD OS drive and he didn't want it because he says intel is better, he's running a Petium D dual core @2.8ghz with 4gb ddr2... He has about 3 office suites and 4 image editing program along with pretty much every program he's ever used on it, safe enough to say the thing runs like a piece of crap...Lol... Me 3. I did kind of put an end to it. My mother in law rents the downstairs. She is constantly on the computer, but she's not very tech savvy. It seems she tries every "deal site" out there, and at one time I counted 10 navigation bars on her browser. She kept complaining that her computer and internet were slow. I tried to tell her about malware, and viruses... and guess how she decided to solve this...by downloading this malware program from one of the popups on her computer..... Can we say facepalm.....
When it got to the point where it would take her LITERALLY 10 minutes from when she double clicked on Explorer, to when she can type something in, I decided I'd help her. I removed all the add ons, did scans with McAfee, Nortons, Hijack This, and several others.. and got it to a reasonable speed (but still slow).... 2 days later I went down to check on it, and she installed five more of those browser navigations....can we say double facepalm..... yes, her computer went back to being slow. she said "Oh, I use swag bucks for this, and I use this browser for looking for coupons, and.... (etc etc) I refused to help her ever since. I guess she got tired of not getting help, and asked her other son in law... he said it would take too long. Her solution... buy another computer.
Hopefully windows 10 is less prone to such attacks.
Maybe SJ just hasn't sent them my info yet?![]()
