I not THAT old and I agree with your statements. I don't have or want a smartphone. The screens are way too tiny for me to be able to enjoy any of the apps and I don't see how people use them for internet stuff. Hell, my tablet is barely tolerable for using the internet. I use my phone to keep up with my teenager and every once in awhile I make a call with it. Mostly just have it incase I need it when I'm out of the house. I hate talking on the phone.

You didn't fail him; whoever dumped him did that. You went above and beyond for him. It's hard when you want so much for them to survive but it just isn't meant to be. I admire you so much for trying so hard. Hopefully the other little one is more of a fighter, but only time will tell. You did an amazing thing and you shouldn't beat yourself up at all.
