Idk, a few years back the wife and I went there for some corn and it was horrible. Like, Safeway has better corn.
Idk if it was late in the season or if they just had a bad crop... We haven't been back since then. Maybe we should try again next year.

early season and only at the FSU ag market. I got some from SaveMart once that was supposedly FSU corn and it was horribly old and tough.

After seeing Deadliest Catch I doubt I could even get her to go there. She's a Ca. girl and has never had a real winter in her life. I keep trying to convince her how great they are and she keeps telling me to dream on.

Don't, and I mean DONT trust anything on tv that is based in Alaska (deadliest catch, ice road truckers, remote living) those shows are so bogus and full of crap.

I've driven the haul road (to prudohe bay) in my Chevy lumina. It may not be the brightest idea, but I've done it.

They over hype everything.

The only shows you can trust is like nature shows... Or whatnot...

So what are you saying? The fishing vessels are fake? Or the waves, the crab and injuries and all staged? What part(s) including the waters or ports are falsified?

No all it took was to see the country side covered in snow and some of the snow storms that happened during the filming. Nothing to do with the hurricanes and the sensationalism that they pump up for the show.

Wished I could No running away for me. Mom (79 in Oct) can't be left alone long and can't take car rides/traveling anymore. So other than bill paying, grocery shopping or an occasional cookout with a brother I go no Where

My mother is 77 and we have an rv so we can pull over for bathroom breaks. Stop every couple of hours to stretch and only travel 300 miles a day. We can stop sooner if we have too. She enjoys it.

Mr CRXESS How are you doing this fine morning? I can't believe it but the local weather is saying to take an umbrella with today. We might get a few drops of rain. I'd be happier with a few inches but I doubt it.
