Last I knew titanium was only .49 and I heard they started not charging for it
Yes, they charged 49 cents for the titanium upgrade (I purchased it before I installed the firmware update that included it for free). And they charged 99 cents for the stainless steel upgrade (I purchased that too).

It's all in the wording, the site states "gradually", so don't hold your breath.
I'm one of them that was supposed to have shipped on the 14th, it's been a week but still nothing.
Not complaining, just sharing my experience, by the way.
It'll get here eventually (I hope!)

They said the 50 winners from the thread drawings were shipping the 14th right? I just checked the mail...no Cloud Machine.

Right behind you...

No, they said that kits and shipping details of all the US winners (thread and the main contest) would arrive at Madvapes sometime after the 20th, and Madvapes would then ship them off (in an undisclosed time period) after that. Could be today, could be next month, we just don't know.

Winners in the rest of the world supposedly started shipping directly from Smok in China on the 14th, but not all at once. So far, a week later, nobody has chimed in from outside the US to say they've received anything. But then again, only a small portion of the off-site winners are even ECF members and fewer still actively posted about their win in the first place.

Got no stainless and may never have. I have enough wire to last to the 3035:lol:
Might wait for a Hack for Ti. I have plenty of 26ga Ni200 to work with and Both other mods have Ti.

Are they here yet?o_O

You're still reading it wrong. :) The model with TC pre-activated was meant to sell for a higher retail price, and those that were silly enough to buy the cheaper one could upgrade for $2.99 later.

But they NEVER RELEASED the locked variant. Anywhere. They all come with Ni200 temp control unlocked from the factory, and the laser-etched "TC" on the housing.

Somebody at Smok woke up and saw selling two versions of this (actually, four if you include the black model) would be a very bad idea when all the competition in that category came with free Ni200 temp control, and no retailer in their right mind would bother to stock the non-TC version with it only being $3.00 cheaper and knowing full well that it was the same device.

What Smok did instead was they locked the titanium (and later stainless steel) TC modes and charge for those via the app. For (wait for it) $2.99.

Also, it's worth noting that the text content of the X Cube II pages hasn't been changed since June, before the device was actually released. No mention of titanium mode, no mention of stainless mode in the main product page. Smok doesn't update sites well.

@Croak idk about your math but my Math that doesn't come out to 2.99
Same verbiage amigo, on both pages. But go find a VW-only X Cube II for sale, in kit form or standalone mod. You can't. Because they never actually produced them.
They never produced them then why bother putting it on a new page. I hope im wrong but its odd that they would put it on a new page if there is no reason for it. Now they prob just copy and pasted but why be sloppy and not remove the unneeded stuff. Only time will tell and I hope it's me that's wrong.

Does MadVapes have any in stock yet? :?: Shipping Addresses are fine, but wonder if they don't have any to ship
When I talked to MadVapes back on Sept. 11th, They said,
They didn't know anything about any contest, but they have been getting calls from people in the contests, calls about 2 different contest that SMOK was having.
They (every MV Shop) were all sold out of the X Cube II, and was waiting on their own order to come in.

Worst Case Scenario for US people :(
  1. SMOK waits to see how many were going to the US.
  2. SMOK Notifies MadVapes that they were going to ship them out, and they works out the details.
  3. SMOK sends MadVapes the list of names and Addresses.
  4. MadVapes figures out how many they need, and puts an order in too SMOK for the Mods and Tanks.
  5. SMOK ships order to MadVapes
  6. MadVapes gets their order and puts the Kits together,
  7. MadVapes Puts mailing address labels and Stamps on the kits.
  8. MadVapes Ships kits out.

Better Case Scenario for US people :)

  1. First SMOK waits to see how many were going to the US
  2. SMOK Puts the kits together
  3. SMOK Puts mailing labels & Stamps on the kits
  4. SMOK Puts all the Kits in one big Shipping Box
  5. SMOK Ships the one big box to MadVapes with a note saying "Please drop off at Post Office"
  6. MadVapes unpacks Kits and drops them off at the Post Office ;)
