Same verbiage amigo, on both pages. But go find a VW-only X Cube II for sale, in kit form or standalone mod. You can't. Because they never actually produced them.
Yes, they charged 49 cents for the titanium upgrade (I purchased it before I installed the firmware update that included it for free). And they charged 99 cents for the stainless steel upgrade (I purchased that too).Last I knew titanium was only .49 and I heard they started not charging for it
Waitin....
Waitin.......
Is today the day?
It's all in the wording, the site states "gradually", so don't hold your breath.
I'm one of them that was supposed to have shipped on the 14th, it's been a week but still nothing.
Not complaining, just sharing my experience, by the way.
It'll get here eventually (I hope!)

They said the 50 winners from the thread drawings were shipping the 14th right? I just checked the mail...no Cloud Machine.

Do it!Well, nothing on my USPS, ups quantum, or Fedex yet...
So, who knows...
I kinda want to call Madvapes.... But Id never do that...
You're still reading it wrong. The model with TC pre-activated was meant to sell for a higher retail price, and those that were silly enough to buy the cheaper one could upgrade for $2.99 later.

But they NEVER RELEASED the locked variant. Anywhere. They all come with Ni200 temp control unlocked from the factory, and the laser-etched "TC" on the housing.
Somebody at Smok woke up and saw selling two versions of this (actually, four if you include the black model) would be a very bad idea when all the competition in that category came with free Ni200 temp control, and no retailer in their right mind would bother to stock the non-TC version with it only being $3.00 cheaper and knowing full well that it was the same device.
What Smok did instead was they locked the titanium (and later stainless steel) TC modes and charge for those via the app. For (wait for it) $2.99.
Also, it's worth noting that the text content of the X Cube II pages hasn't been changed since June, before the device was actually released. No mention of titanium mode, no mention of stainless mode in the main product page. Smok doesn't update sites well.
@Croak idk about your math but my Math that doesn't come out to 2.99Yes, they charged 49 cents for the titanium upgrade (I purchased it before I installed the firmware update that included it for free). And they charged 99 cents for the stainless steel upgrade (I purchased that too).
They never produced them then why bother putting it on a new page. I hope im wrong but its odd that they would put it on a new page if there is no reason for it. Now they prob just copy and pasted but why be sloppy and not remove the unneeded stuff. Only time will tell and I hope it's me that's wrong.Same verbiage amigo, on both pages.
