Alright Yall, last DIY question.

I know in the long run, bigger bulk makes juice cheaper.

Here is my dellema. As of now I have a max budget of $50 (just right this second)

If you were me and had no supplies

Would you:

A: go get 2- 120ml flavors from a local shop.

Or 2: buy DIY supplies.

It seems to me, if I really want to reap the cost saving benefits of DIY it's wise to spend the $ on 4oz bottles of flavor and big ol' jugs of PG/VG and if I just buy the 10ml bottles of flavor, I'll run out making small batches and effectivly have a near same cost as buying prefab juice.

Buy the 30 ml sizes, they will go a long way.

Hmmm a LOT of good info Yall.... Now I can't decide on the flavors! Do I want to just get "strawberry shortcake" and some VG and such or do I want to try and make my own out of strawberrys, crust, cream ect....

It seems like if I'm on a budget, getting just one flavor is the way to go...

But do I get 10ml bottles or 4oz since I know I'll want to make a lot (and accounting for failures)

It almost looks like it will cost $100 for a decent DIY setup... But maybe I'm just over complicating things....
If I were you, I would start out with a one-bottle flavor (you know, instant gratification and all), then hunt down some good recipes after that. When you start getting into individual components (crust, cream, etc.), and start mixing blind, you could end up with something really tasty, or really nasty. :2c: I wouldn't buy flavors that I think I might like (ended up with a lot of unopened bottles) - I usually buy them for a specific recipe now. And if you didn't like ECB, IMO you might wanna avoid FlavorWest. Just sayin'. I think they might've created their own flavors by now, but when I tried them, it tasted and behaved a lot like FW stuff.

I don't have the Patience for doing that and I got some NET's I really enjoy from goodejuice so I'll just stick with them and soon start diying other flavors

Diying nets is very simple.Find a tobacco you like, put some in a jar,and cover it with pg.Let it sit around a month or 2 and filter it,and mix it as a flavoring just as any other flavor, very easy to make your own and a whole lot cheaper.

Anymore all I use is MFS and Ecig express. I use to use Wizard Labs, right up until I found out WL uses false advertising and labeling with their nic.

3 years ago, the guy I trust the most in this whole biz told me to only buy my DIY stuff from MFS, especially the nic. Not surprised to hear he knew even then what he was talking about.

That's what was confusing me (because total DIY noob) is that it looks like (via recipe links) that some recipes call for up to 10ml of flavor to make 120ml juice.

So although a 10ml bottle is like $2-3 I also have to account for all the other supplies I need (measuring equip, nic, PG/VG)....
Just a little confused. The DIY forum has a bunch of info I'm trying to soak in.... I think that's why I'm getting a little confuzzled...
