If you had lived in Japan for a year, you should know that none of those were "little girls" and in fact most were fairly famous models, and adults. Cosplay does not = child, it's a world wide hobby that many adults enjoy

I know they're (usually) adult women, but the barely post-pubescent look is creepy and deliberate and raises red flags to quite a few folks with Western sensibilities. Then again, I've been called the anti-otaku by my co-workers.

That's how I took it too. The ECF part here for 1 week, the main contest from SMOK is open until the 16th.
