Going from 80 degrees inside the house to 120 outside causes the air inside to expand and force the juice out on vacuum type tanks. At least once a week I make a drive over a 3000 foot mountain pass that also causes the air to expand. Top coil clearos and genesis tanks don't have this problem.

Yes, I can see how this would be a problem. But why do you get chastised for using cotton?

Lets just say there are some people that insist that you use SS mesh or you aren't doing it right.

I don't low ohm, I don't chase clouds, I don't have a mech to pulse a coil on mesh, I don't have a torch. All I wanted was a dripper with a tank and a genesis with cotton suits me for that. Side benefit turns out to be no leaks if kept upright.

Oh, I see...the only one I need to please is me and I use cotton on my toppers.

I don't use cotton on my genny, though...don't know how I would but if you do and it works for you, enjoy.

Vape On!

Did you recieve your attys yet?

Hey guys...lost track of where this thread went...I received the attys on wednesday...very fast shipping....these were nicely boxed with plenty of extra parts AND they already had builds on them. The builds that are on them were about 1.7ohms with ekowool on them and I filled up and vaped for a day...flavor was muted, probably due to the ekowool and break in period...when I filled, I had no leaks and the adjustable slide on it works very good in fine tuning the draw. I mean compared to my Russian 91% or KFL, the draw is definitely looser and the vape flavor is...well...muted. So then I had to dabble and try a build of my own with my cotton wick...

...I proceeded to build my own and it was a little frustrating due to the type of build deck and the thumb screws but I got it done...now I have to fine tune my wick for this but all in all, for the price, very pleased with this device...before I give a thumbs up or down...I gotta dabble a bit more...but it's got a lot going for this device...adjustable 510 screw, draw adjustability, stainless steel cover to the pyrex container, nice tip and attractive looking ....I'll follow up again when I have more time to give it it's due...I received 2 russian 91%s that I simply have been loving so much that I haven't had the time....

....all in all I'm loving the toppers...they offer so much customization to the vape flavor.

Interesting... If I didn't have so much on its way to me already, I may pick one up. I've determined I need at least one RTA for each device of mine. 4 in total. I'm looking to get rid of my Tobeco Kayfun lite, which has been leaking through the air hoke no matter what I do lately. Thing is, it's the only Kayfun my quartz glass kit fits on, so I've been using it for my tank cracker juices. I have the Erlkonigin on its way to replace it, along with a glass tube for it. However, now my Hcigar 3.1 is leaking through the fill port, and while I can plug it up from the inside it's just a pain in the .... I also discovered I don't particularly like dealing with the base on a Kayfun 3.1. Just an extra piece to remove and clean for me. I think I may need to replace that one as well, and this seems to be an affordable option...

Bought one from them and got it yesterday. Fast shipper and great price. So far I love this RBA. Yeah the thumbscrews are a little "fiddly" as my brit buddy would say and do take a little getting used to but I'll probably replace them anyway (or cut screwdriver slots in the top with a dremel)

Just ordered two caterpillar RDA's from them as well. Looking forward to getting them later this week.

Just got one yesterday and built it up with a 2 ohm coil and cotton in it. I'm comparing it to my kayfuns right now and basically I like it and I dont like it. I like it because it vapes great. I dont like it because it's not one of my kayfuns that I'm so used to haha.

Initially I flooded it because I filled it with my liquid direct from the dropper top, so too much pressure built up, no where for air to escape. Thankfully I picked up some bottles with syringe tips so I will need to use those in the future. Quite a mess if it floods (i'm used to the catch of my kayfun 3.1 if it floods).

Love the weight, its so light compared to the kayfun. Also my kayfuns are nano sized with glass. The rsbt is just a little bit shorter than my kayfuns, which is awesome considering the capacity. plus the full glass tank inside is nice, you truly will know when you're out of liquid. Airflow is great too. Seems to me that with the kayfun the airflow screw doesnt change it all too much. with the rsbt you feel the difference as you adjust it. Didn't use a lot of cotton in the well/deck, just ran a piece straight through the coil and tucked a little bit down the side of the well and then got the tails into the grove and trimmed. And like others have stated, the thumb screws suck. But I just used a pair of tweezers to grip it and loosen/tighten initially and then you can work it by hand.

Overall, I am very satisfied. This may replace my kayfuns in the near future... or more rsbt's will be added into the mix.

I like my KFL+'s airflow about 50% closed... is it possible to close this one down that much? If it's too airy it doesn't seem satisfying to me, but I've gotten away from liking the tight draw of a cartotank, because of the KFL+'s!

Love the price on this... and the pyrex with metal sleeve, and the pyrex instead of metal driptip. But thumbscrews sound like a pain, but my husband has a giant drawer full of screws of every size and description; if he can't find replacement screws for the thumbscrews in there, I'd be very surprised.

There are 5 holes on the airflow ring, so cover up 2 and half of one and you'll have 50%

In that case, I think I definitely have to get one of these; love all its features, and it's a SmokTech; everything of theirs that I have is really excellent, so I'm thinking this one probably is too, and the price is amazing. :thumb:

Thx!

I've been running mine for about a week now and I love it. I don't know why it's not made a big splash here on the forum..maybe it's just not what the "cool kids" are running yet ~LOL~

What's not to like?

Adjustable airflow
Bottom coil
Top fill Pyrex tank (holds 3 ml after saturating the wick)
All stainless construction (including tank shield with window)
Adjustable 510 post
Pyrex/stainless drip tip (which I love) included
Did I mention adjustable airflow?

I paid under $30 shipped on Ebay

Can't help with your decisions except to tell you what I've experienced so far. The only drawback I've found is thumbscrews for anchor points for your coil. At first I didn't care for them but after playing around and popping in a dozen or so coils they became a non-issue for me. I always have a leatherman around so a small twist to lightly tighten the thumbscrews with the pliers is simple.

The trick with any small threaded thingy of course is not to get carried away---snug is fine...tight is too much and will contribute to stripping one or the other.

I's also got two of SMOK's "Caterpillar" RDA's that I got around the same time I got the RSBT that I'm also am extremely happy with and between the two types of devices I think I'm set for a while on Atties...Not even looking for any others.

Choices, choices?
This, the aga-t7, or blow all the spare change and go reo, what to do?

I have the Aga T-7 and love it. Normally I don’t care for dual coil RTAs but the T7 has been a real champ in terms of performance. Takes a bit of time to get the build right to avoid leaks (there’s a thread on the T7 with some great tips and photos) but once nailed, it’s a great choice.

I ordered the RSBT from Triangle Vapes (same place I got the T7) and should have that in a day or two, so I can’t give a first-hand comparison with the T7 as of yet. But, from what I’ve read, it’s a good performer as well. Looking forward to trying it out.

But, if the spare change can cover a Reo, there’s no contest – get the Reo. RTAs are nice to have, but a Reo is a must-have!
