Smoktech RDA or Octopus

I just got the Smoktech rda/Octopus and set it up with a Kamry K100 it didn't seem like was working but my 18350 battery started to get hot. Does anybody know why this happened? I would greatly appreciate your knowledge.

if the battery gets hot.. then there must be a short somewhere... try rebuilding your coil.. if it still does not work and your batter continuous heating up.. then that rda is defective..

Thanks for the help TristanRicAlindogan. Would you happen to know if my batteries are fried now? Do I have to pick up some new 18350's?

The batteries are probably OK . I just got one of those RDA's and mines working great on a Smok , telescoping mechanical . But as said , check the wick and coil with a multi-meter , or just build a new coil . Good Luck

Yes , that's exactly what causes a short . If you can space them apart alittle , your coil might still be usuable .
