okay so i have the octopus, and i want to try something like sub ohming. i want to have a huge cloud of smoke but i ran into some questions. do i have to use the type of wick that the octopus was made for? and would it even matter? what size air hole would i need to get around .8 ohms, and i heard it is easier by twisting 32g kanthal. my mod is a clone of a lava tube.so what battery would i need use. and other mods would be better to sub ohm from. any and all help on the smoketech rda would really help me out because i can't find anything online.

Lavatube is an apv is it not? You will need a mech mod for sub ohm coils since an apv won't fire under 1.2 ohm on average. A mech mod has no electronics inside to stop it so can fire any coil which can also be a problem. If you don't test your coil properly and just toss it on a mech it could short your batteries and blow up basically. Would be best to do some research before getting into sub ohm and mech mods.
I'm not trying to scare you off of them since they are quite safe and fun to play with if you know what to do and not do for your own safety.
