just replaced my lavatube v1 with a sid. I took the rda off of the lavatube and put it on the sid and I cannot believe the difference. I have never tasted my juices quite like this before. You would think that the same rda on 2 different devices would perform the same when the voltage is set the same...but no the sid is blowing the lavatube out of the water. Best $35 I've spent in a long time.

IIRC, wasn't the lavatube v1 like one of the first variable voltage devices? I hate to break it to you, but if you meter it the numbers you get will probably disagree with what your lavatube is saying. More recent products generally tend to be more accurate in my experience.

yeah that makes sense. but whatever it is I'm loving this. That lavatube was a piece of junk. after 3 months it started shorting out and the bottom and top caps became loose. The sid feels much more solid and well built.
