Just watched the review, WOW! get out the dremmel and order a hotspring. Or, you could give one to your enemy for christmas, and tell them it works great with stacked unprotected batteries. You know he said that exploding batteries are bad press, and he is right. I had a smoker at work tell me he would not try one because they are unsafe. he was tokin on a Marlboro red at the time. He also said people do stupid things with PV's when they are not designed to do those things, CORRECT! Some of the funniest videos on youtube have to do with people using things inappropriatly. I'm sure someone could kill themselves with that toilet paper roll holder if they played with it long enough. It is amusing at times to hear about how stupid we all are.

I think more of us Americans would buy these American products if they were more readily available

Yeah…that's the thing. I think everything I vape has come from china except juice. There's not really an alternative for a lot of it. An American ego? pthbthbthbthtb. Not going to happen. Lots of the mods don't have all their color selections available. I don't think they're ever going to make more Empire mods. Kicks……well……yeah. I don't know where to get one.

Just about the only American mod that's readily available is the Provari……which might help explain it's popularity. If you want American and you want it now, you have a few unregulated mods that aren't available in all their colors……or the Provari.

People buy Chinese because–for the most part–Americans suck at delivering products.

There are many other American PVs out there that are available. Puresmoker's devices, the SB, Super T, AltSmoke Alfa and Omega, ect... The reason why we buy Chinese is because it's CHEAPER!. The Chinese can manufacture stuff much cheaper and much quicker because of cheap labor and no strong manufacturing regulations.

Altsmoke's stuff is available, but not in all the colors. The Precise+ has a 2-3 week lead time, which is better than it not being available by leaps and bounds, but it's still not ideal. You're right about the puresmoker stuff, but that still doesn't leave as much choice.

And most atomizers, all cartomizers, and (i think) all clearomizers come from China, right?

Very true about the atty/carto thing being from China. I only use Genesis rebuildables and China is trying to knock them off now.

I bought some american flags as decorations for a 4th of july party this year from a well known inexpensive retail chain. When I was setting them up I nearly S**T my pants when I noticed the small white "made in China" label attached to them. Knockoff PV'S? Lets wake up we have been Knocked up! Everytime we bend over someone is shoving china up the cornhole! At least this one is shaped like a torpedo, do you think it comes with a little packet of KY jelly? I'm not riding the high horse, god knows I love chinese food. I have to admit I have bought my fair share of their crap. The best part about buying it is if you throw it at the wall and it explodes you really don't care.

I think your right....on FB they released a statement that they will only be selling to aproved venders because co-ops are making a unfair market. If they find out your ordering for a co-op they wont sell to you or if it comes out after you get your order then they will revoke your warranty.

From all i have read here ,wouldn't "revoking your warranty" be like asking for a warranty on a bic lighter?

Exactly my point. The Chinese will not kill the modders.. Availability will. As more and more people vape - the more they are going to want the better hardware. Who is going to be there to fill those orders? Im shocked they haven't knocked off the Darwin yet.

Psssst.....Zmax.

Incoming.

Yeah, It is a Shame when ALL of our USA Olympic Opening Ceremony Uniforms and Almost All of what our USA Athletes wore when Competing was Made in China.

Think the Fact that China buys a lot of our T-Bills has anything to do with the USA Not Wanting or Not Being Able to curb Trade with China?

Just say’n.

We have to wait and see if this is going to be what the OEM releases here in the USA but I'm sure it will be something Similar to what is in your picture.

A Vent ant the Bottom and a Vent at the Top Above the Battery.

That's not true. Just speaking from what I know (olympic shooting):

The rifles were all German…and I think they were all Anszhutz. Most of their other hardware was German, American, or Finnish. The bullets were almost certainly British or possibly Soviet if there's any of it left (there were a few runs of one specific Russian ammo that perform really[/i ]well)……but they were probably all shooting Eley, which is Brittish. The Pelets were almost ceratianly German.

I'd expect the pistols were all German, but I'm not certain. There's an Austrian maker they might have used. Same deal with ammunition (except not Soviet…the good ammo was rifle only).

I'm not that specific on shotguns, but I'd expect them to be American, German, or Belgian. Not sure about their ammo.

I used to compete a little below the Olympic level, and while I owned a lot of foreign stuff……I don't think I owned anything that was made in China. For rifle stuff, Americans just don't make anything that's competitive except a few small pieces.

And the uniforms for the Opening Ceremonies were tailored by Ralph Lauren. I'm pretty sure they were 100% American made from domestic and foreign (but not Chinese) fabrics. At least, it was that way in Vancouver. Not sure about London.

Well, off topic for the forum... but sure enough Anschutz actions, but often paired with Winchester barrels. It's rare to see any non-competitive shooters in the States with Anschutz equipment except trappers and varmint hunters who use .22 magnum to keep pelts in tact...

I sure wouldn't mind seeing some German engineering for e-cigs.
