Either will work, but the ones with nipples will be easier since you won't have to put a spacer between them. You'll want at least four so you can be vaping while one set charges. And how many come in a box? I don't think you'd have a problem selling them in the classies--I'd be interested in a pair just to compare to my AW's, and because I have other PV's that use them :)

Right now the non-nipples are about $4.20 a pair.
I will check on the nipple ones and see how many is in a box.

I'll keep you posted.

Cyrus, thats probably likely. Try getting some efests from CCV. Vapnj has done some pretty extensive testing on them... I have them and they work great.

Vapnj did you publish those results yet?

Another thing would be to stop using LR attys and go for some 3.0ohm or higher.

Good point on the LRs, admittedly there is something silly about using them on VV devices. Just trying to sort out potential flavor differences among different ohms on the same atty. logically I'd guess only watts matters, but I'm curious.

I'll look into those batts. So they even beat out the AW IMR high drains?

Hey All,

My mod should be here today, but still needing to buy the batteries.

I heard the Efest batteries are the best for the Vmax.

Should I get nipple or nipple free???

Looks like the price is cheaper if I buy a box of them. I would have extra, so if anyone thinks they would sell in the claasifieds, let me know and I will order that why.

Thanks in advance,
Melissa.
OMG...Melissa, I did not know you were a member here?! Glad you stopped in! I just sent you an invite to the Group! :D

According to TESTS that VAPNJ350 has done between the Efests and AW's, everything was about the same all the way up to 5 amps! Everything above 5 amps the Efests beat the AW's!

For those of you who do not know VAPNJ350 and are NEW to this thread, I am going to give you a little insight about him!

First off he is like a brother to me and I would literally take the shirt off my back for him! He has a VERY EXTENSIVE educational background, holding a Degree(s) in Electrical Engineering and was the one who actually tested the VMAX's for Smoktech before they were released to the Vaping Market! He is a man who benefits from nothing, BUT to help MAXIMIZE vaping to its utmost potential in the Vaping Community! Anyone who has been in this thread or has followed him in other threads and FORUMS, can CONFIRM everything I have stated! In NO WAY, SHAPE, or FORM does he get paid financially by Smoktech, Boge, or ANY other major E-Cig Corporations period! ALL this brother of mine wants is for the Vaping Community to ENJOY vaping as he has done and be informative of products in detail and give his unbiased opinions to HELP everybody! I have gotten to know him on a personal level and he is one of the most COMPASSIONATE people I have ever met and his CREDIBILITY stands with me! :D

**NOTE: I am just speaking in general and NO fingers are being pointed! I just wanted EVERYONE to be informed of who he is and what he satnds for! :D

All the tests are done. I'm doing the graphs to show the curve from the AW to the E'fests this week. Im hoping ecf will not give me a hard time uploading the format Im doing them in, last time I tried uploading the actual manufactures data reports and graph curves it would NOT let me upload them due to the type of file it was so I tried to change the file type ecf allows and it still wouldn't let it happen. But as Freddie so eagerly stated...lol...the E'fest and AW are a very head to head type battery and are EXTREMELY close in side by side tests. I mean within a 10th of a volt close. They are pretty much the same at every discharge rate until the 10 amp discharge test. And I'll leave you with this.....the AW on a 10 amp discharge reached VERY close to it's peak temperature cut off in 8 min. After 18 min. the E'fest still had time to spare before reaching thermal overload. I stopped the discharge test there as the point was obviously made. Result:from my testing the AW battery the 0.2a,0.5a,1a,2a,5a discharge mah is higher than E'fest battery, literally by a 10th of a volt give or take.
10a discharge mah is lower 136.2 mah than E'fest battery. Needless to say the batteries that have always been my primary for every mod have been replaced and now they are my secondary , obviously the E'fest 18350's are in my VMAX. The 18650 E'fest s on it's way to me along with a 14650 for the 14 series Epower devices. Can't wait to test those also. I really hope this sheds some light on a few questions and performance inquiries on the E'fest battery. If I were all of you I would be scooping up all these that I could....I have a feeling once the vendors figure out they are selling a battery that performs with the AW brand only 1 of 2 things can and WILL happen.....either the price of AW's will come down.....or the E'fest's prices will go up to match AW's.....And you can bet the farm it WILL NOT be the 1st scenario of the 2. Take care everyone.

so this is efest batteries at crystal clear vaping?

Yes sir. I believe they still have some, they also have the nipple/button tops on the way. But the flat top they have now "INCLUDE" a earth magnet with every pair purchased free of charge. I think the button tops are coming in today actually. Don't quote me on that tho.

VAP I'm new to this thread and the Vmax, and I got it after getting a Provari, just to let you all know where I'm at.

I have noticed that 3 volts on the Vmax seems to be 4ish volts on the Provari. But from 4-6 volts they seem to agree :)

(I have the model that resets to 5V)

Have you ironed out why exactly this happening? Is it a simple calibration issue (e.g. the Vmax is "wrong" even though it works just fine after you find where you want to be by taste) ?

It's not a matter of calibration, it's a matter of behaviour. To use an allegory, the Provari actually varies the output voltage--vaping with it would be like having a 100 watt light bulb on a dimmer switch. The VMax "effectively" varies the voltage by turning the output on and off--vaping on it is like having an adjustable strobe light. You can read with a 100 watt bulb dimmed down to 50 watts, and you can read with a 100 watt bulb flashing 50 times a second, but they will be compleatly different experiences :)

DOA!! :(

Vaped my vmax this morning and noticed it needed new batts, so I took the pair that I charged yesterday (efest) and put them in just like every other time I have done it, and.....nothing......took batteries out and changed the front one to the back and the back one to the front......nothing.......took my carto and adapter off and cleaned the connection and tried the batteries again......nothing, not a blink, number, blue light, notta.

So, I am charging the batteries that were working in it, (even tho the other ones were fully charged and metered fine) and will try them.

Any suggestions? I got this mod in a co op, so I doubt I can send it back, so I gotta get this puppy to work! Thanks brothers!
