I got a cheap TR-001 and no matter what batteries I charge on it they always meter 4.21 right off the charger. Been going strong for years.
Amen to that, only difference is I've only used mine for a year.

Are you talking about the Ultrafire or the "VMAX" red/black batteries ? I've tested MANY Ultrafire. If Ultrafire all I need is the model and I've probably already done them. Let me know which ones in detail you speak of. Take care. .....J
Well they are the Vmax red/black but have no model number on battery just Vmax 18350 750 mah high power battery, I am mainly wanting to know if they are IMR or protected battery as some adds on Alibaba state as I don't trust anything that I read on that site other than they will sell it
Thanks pwyll, as you can see, chemistry wasn't one of my stronger subjects. But it's all coming back to me now![]()

Well get to it then bro...Hahaha...LOL!Well I looked at the add posted above but honestly it only gave me more questions. It says protected battery. But it says high power. Protected batteries that are pcb protected ARE far from high power batteries. It says protected but it doesn't say pcb protected (ICR) or safe chemistry protected (IMR). They recommend using IMR high drain type cells in the VMAX but knowing Smoktech the way I do I doubt they would release a IMR battery, I know for a fact the blue smoktech batteries in the ad next to the VMAX batteries ARE pcb protected, thats the exact batteries Smoktech sent me inside the Chrome prototype went it arrived. So I think Im going to go with pcb protected on the red/black Vmax batteries. DO NOT quote me on thatbut that is my "opinion". And if so that means they are no where near as powerful as the E'fest or the AW IMR's. They may last a long time but that has nothing to do with a high discharge rate, that kinda proves they have a low discharge rate if they last a extra long time.
But I might just order a pair strictly to get the raw "real" numbers out of them. I think those are the only mod batts I haven't tested.lol
I just got informed that I should be receiving a PROTOTYPE of "The bliSS" in my hands next week! When I do get it I will be posting pics. and giving a review! STAY TUNED...![]()

What did I do?
Thanks, after just buying vivi's, both size Firebirds, a DID, a DCT and the new CE2's I needed another tank like an extra armpit. I'm ashamed to admit I just bought 3 of these in different colours
I may need help.
Of course, by the time I actually use all these the newer versions will be out.![]()
I'm currently in love with the USPS

On to charging...
(where did I leave that volt meter??)
That is a beautiful thing. I got almost the same thing setup (v1, with x2 vivi novas) last week and it's been the best vape experience I've had in my 2 years combined. I wish I had all the money on junk I've wasted up to this point..
1.there are other forums????
2. This came to mind
3.
I'm loving the vivi nova, any downside you guys can think of that due to my inexperience I haven't, well, experienced?
4. I need to lay off the forum for a while, my wallet is not liking it
The 2.5 atty that came in the viva has been perfect. Staying between 3.0 - 4.0 volts has served me well. I've only had mine a little under a week but both of them have been amazing compared to the plethora of ce2's I've tried in the past. Cleaning sounds easy too. The replaceable components are cheaper than what it would cost to toss an otherwise good carto with a bad atty.
