Thanks for the invite, joined already LOL

Ok, so my VIVI is leaking from the wicks into the post, as far as i can see there is a gap between the wick and the silicon cap. So that leads me to another (big) question: If i fill with the silica wick the gap will it still pull the juice?? I think i'm starting to get an idea why they joined a loose part to the top of it. I, as so many, did pull the loose strand out but no leakage issues.
I don't have a problem in putting more wick material in the post, easier to make the coil and higher Ohms possible, i can make a wick of 6mm or more if necessary just have to add more strands

hey VAPNJ350 you seem to know a lot about batteries

I just noticed one of my 18490 AW's got a hole in the wrapper. Should I throw it out, or can I cover the hole with tape/a sticker or something else (maybe move the AW sticker and put it on top of the hole?)

Try adding a 1.5 mm strand to it and you should be fine! If your troubles persists keep on at it, but the 1.5 mm should work! How many wraps are you doing?

Just got my first Vmax. Charging batteries and waiting patiently but sadly my entire order from discount vaper, which came from the same usps guy that delivered my Vmax didn't leave that package also. Soooo ....... No dripping tonight. Can't crank it up with all my LR STUFF. :(

Got the Phoenix XL today...nomore plastic on the posts to worry about, holds more juice, bigger area to build a perfect wick/coil, added thick o-ring to adjust the hit and it seems to produce even bigger clouds on the VMax than the smaller one.

Video inc soon.
If you like the Phoenix XL, then YOU will LOVE the Rainbow Atty! It is comparible to the ERA and the Fatty! :)

I had the same thing happen to 1 of my 2900maH AW ICR's .......as long as you use a vinyl type type tape (black electrical tape, or 1 of the various colors they now have) it should be fine. Just keep an eye on it with a good inspection every time you take it out to re-charge it to be safe. Electrical tape is about 1-2mm thick depending on the company who made it so keep in mind if your mod has a tight fit already it may be a better idea to just buy another battery instead of risking a fatal type short.
Best advice I can give you is just use good "safe" judgement. No need to push your luck over a $7 dollar battery.

FYI...The new 18500 IMR E"FEST batteries have tested extremely well. Very high and stable discharge rate, and long lasting considering.

Take care and good luck.
