I bought one, curious to see if anyone has any experience. It was cheap and I have 18350s galore so I figured why not, I like the size factor. This is the Smoktech Zmax Mini, not the sigelei of the same name.

I searched a bit, didn't find much about the smok device. I'd love to hear how poorly I chose a random device.

Thanks all!

My wife never smoked but wanted to vape with me so I did my research and got her a SMOK ZMAX Mini in pink, of course! She's had it now for a month or so and no problems to report.

My only beef is that it's a 19mm device so her atty of choice, the Aspire, looks a little top heavy on it.

Cool beans, thanks for the info.

When you say Aspire do you mean the Nautilus? I could see that being the case.

I had one for a while and gave it to my daughter. It was an ok mod but it couldn't compare to my every day device (Provari). Probably not so bad a mod for the money.

I agree with this poster, which why I'm hoping some kind ECF member with an unwanted pink ProVari Mini will sacrifice theirs for my wife. :)

This does not discount the value of the ZMAX. It has served her well and is a quality device for someone not yet willing to step up to the commitment of a ProVari, or other similar device.

I bought my stainless Zmax Mini about 2 months ago. Love it, use it as my daily mod. Especially when I wanted to go unnoticed at work, I just pop in the 18350 high drain battery and go. The low 1.2 ohm requirement to fire is also nice, I was able to build a dual coil Aqua atomizer and have it fire on my Smoktech Zmax (it can't fire in my Segelei Zmax Telescope V5 due the miss resistance reading issue on the Segelei). Unfortunately about 3 weeks ago, the insulator underneath the 510 connector started to malfunction. I found myself having to use a pin to pry up the connection pin almost every day. It had since ceased to fire for 2 weeks now. I have tried to contact Smoktech without prevail and it's now way over the retailer's warranty period. I am pretty sure I will never buy a hybrid mod from Smoktech again. In comparison my Segelei and my mechanical Magneto is still going strong, I bought all of the mods just about the same time. I have since given up on the tube mods, I am now building myself a SX350 powered box mod and will eventually built a DNA30 and a DNA20. If my box mods ever breaks, at least it's easy enough to pop it open and fix it. May you have better luck with your Zmax Mini, mine is nothing but a paper weight at this point. Happy Vaping !! :)
