So, I have been trying to come up with a term for what I am. Labels don't really matter but it is nice to know. I am not a noob per se, and I say this because I meet noobs all the time and I really remember what it was like. I have a year+ of trial and research (no need to name names) and have seen many advances and tons of new companies and products born since my start. Some may argue there are degrees of noobism, but I think, I (and people like me) could be more aptly deemed S'more(s).
I derived the term S'more from sophomore, which, in a loose translation refers to a sophisticated ......
If you are a S'more like me: you have spent countless hours, a good deal (but not boat loads of money), and still have noobish questions. However, you can shop virtually any site (and know the good ones) with relative ease, and though you may not have used every tool, you are relatively familiar with the usages. The "more" part of S'more, or the moronic aspect reveals itself when you go from talking to a complete noob and then speak to an old hand, or advance e-cig user...that is when you realize.
The problem with being a S'more? Well...
trying relentlessly to compartmentalize all this info.
Just my thoughts, but I do feel more comfortable knowing which tree to stand under!
