Can't lose any $$ with online poker. The fed's stopped that several years ago. I play for the redeeming value.
However, it shouldn't be very much longer before one can bet with real $$ again online.I thought the same thing about the Feds and gambling. I just saw on teevee that if you live in NJ, and play on a NJ based site, you can gamble....I don't know if it is true, but I'm scared for some people if that is true.Can't lose any $$ with online poker. Yep, Christie recently passed that into law. But, as you said, you must be in NJ to play. It's the same way for Nevada when it comes to poker online.

While I enjoy gaming, it's sick that one can find a casino on about every corner and now it's coming to a computer near you... all to fill the coffers of government. I only game when I am in Vegas. My online poker was relegated, for the most part, to 10 cent tournaments.
This cold weather is driving me batty. Of course I've been accused of being batty without cold weather. But for real, it's the cold weather. 25 degrees when I woke up this morning. 2 months in florida on anna maria island can't come quick enough... if my schedule allows me to do it this year. IDK

Exactly ... only play with what you can afford to lose. I love playing poker and to me it's all about personal responsibility. If someone doesn't have enough self control to limit their losses then it's highly likely they will find a way to expose themselves with or without online gambling, especially in regards to poker which is, for the most part, a skill game. Just my 2 copper alloys worth ...
