It could be. It's a tiny place, 35 square miles. Half is Dutch, half is French. Temps at about 80 degrees year round. Only need vet certificates to take the beasties, and they may have at least one vape store on the island. Cost of living is high, and the only available water is via desalinization, since there are no rivers on the island.

Well, you'll learn to swear in all sorts of interesting new ways. I'd bet the food is OK if you can get it ($$$)...but the attitude sucks (mostly a Dutch reference ).

I'd visit first....

I'm gonna be grouchy.

frannie is at her best when she's grouchy.

So, every year or so, an email comes round from a medical school in St. Maartin, in the Caribbean, looking for someone to teach neuroscience to their med students. It's a real, accredited school. Not sure what it is about the job that they can't get/keep someone. But, perhaps I'll find out. Since I went ahead and responded to the email yesterday.

I've been to St. Maarten several times. It's awesome there, but they do have snakes there that eat dogs.
