-6 degrees F scheduled for Thurs. night. Brrrr. Grrrr.
I don't even buy "Taco Seasoning" anymore. Just the shells. (Hear that Stone?)
Mix my own seasoning. Can tweak it then.
I always remember the Latino guy that asked "Why do you Notre Americanos make your food so spicy?".
Night Tibs.

I'm heading out too. Where is everyone tonight? I think Tibs scared them all off.![]()

For the record, Taco Night and the "taco kit" were not my ideaI don't even buy "Taco Seasoning" anymore. Just the shells. (Hear that Stone?)

It was my idea to add fresh ingredients to it because I wasn't sure what it might taste like without it. I don't normally cook out of a box. With that said, Taco Night was a success IMO. I would have liked to tweak the seasonings as well, but it was not an offensive product and I would eat it again. I would prefer to make my own, but I wouldn't refuse the taco kit "Seasoning" is third on the list of ingredients. So you realize that in a "serving" of TacoSmell beef, you're getting MILLIGRAMS of those highlighted items.
ETA:
You could do WITHOUT the oat products, but the Silicon Dioxide nary raised an eyebrow??? Mmmm-m-m-m-m gooood eating, that Silicon Dioxide. Scrumptious!!!
Bear. I didn't think sand sounded like a good ingredient either, but as you said it would be a very small amount...probably no more than when you eat a sandwich at the beach.
