hehe! but that general ''bear'' did decide to live way up north while some of us general ''we'' moved south for a purpose and were blessed with 4 degrees just the other morning!

Ooooo!!! One whole entire morning!!!! Try weeks and weeks (and weeks and weeks) of 9-degrees-or-less wake-ups.

I'm starting to get a tad bit cranky and ornery.

Other years, I've already started going to the local garden centers, stockpiling mulch and topsoil and other non-perishables. This year all they are selling are blocks of ice. TWO (three?) years ago, the entire yard had it's first full raking, the spring bulbs were mostly blooming and the tree buds were popping. This year, everything is pulled up and hiding so tight that it looks like a "manhood" in the arctic. 5 MORE inches of snow today alone. Forecast of ZERO for tonight.

Bear, those pictures of frozen Niagra are beautiful- but i shudder to think of the amount of cold needed to freeze the falls.

while being stuck in a deep freeze can be depressing this roller coaster we're on is nothing to sneeze at ..... sigh
