what does one do with a personal drone? (other than bounce it off buildings)

So far, take video...and crash...

But I'm not looking forward to dodging them everywhere...bird crap is enough for now

This drone thing doesn't bode well for someone wanting to wreak havoc in a densely populated area, IMO.

sounds like we'll need to work on personal, targeted, EMP generators too...zap those pesky nefarious drones.

We have some high-rise apartment/condo things in the city. like 20/30 floors or whatever.

I think a lot of the NYC stuff is "shorter" buildings...and all the sky scraper stuff is mostly businesses (not 100%, but general rule). That's my "hick" understanding of it all. So sixth floor is not surprising to me as a top floor for residential. But... even then.....it makes me nervous.

I'm from tornado country. Ground floor and basements rock. ;) Although I've worked in "upper floor" businesses.

I dunno, i like my smart gadgets...anything that means that i don't actually have to TALK on the phone is a plus.
Texting works just fine for me ;) I don't need to surf the web or play games on the phone, so I haven't upgraded in awhile.

There is a mix of both. Many of the new residential buildings are quite tall, and getting taller for those who can afford it. I'm in an old building, and many of those are indeed shorter. However, every time they knock down an old building and put in a new one, it is always taller from what I've seen.

I dunno if i buy the conclusions reported for that mouse study...it's notoriously easy to give lab mice cancer and make it worse. Way too much mouse data has little or no application to people. I hope they don't use that study to justify restricting the use of helpful meds to people with COPD, because they "might" be a problem somewhere down the line.

Hmmmm.....being a guy who used to smoke, I'm not so sure I like that article..... :|

Have fun getting all your bits scattered :p
I don't want to be in a building taller than fire department ladders can reach.

There were reports some years back that kids raised in NYC/places with only high rises and no open views had to train distance vision when they went into the military and tried to become pilots.
I agree...I've seen too many buildings on fire since I've been here...
