I know you will not believe this... but I saw that on my way down here to your reply... and repaired it.
Dyslexia is never having to say you're rossy.
Because YOU happen to be having a 70-degree-plus day, I assume.
I'm a bad bad househusband!!!... have not even THOUGHT about dinner yet!!! Oh well!... maybe just some Chicken Helper tonight!!! With CANNED chicken!!!

sometimes i go for the surprise 'i love you' dinner:
boil water in pot
put (metal) colander over boiling water
throw in couple of lobster tails (or shrimp or crab legs)

steam up some asparagus or fresh spinach (in season right now)
heat up french bread in oven (or leftover homemade rosemary herbed skillet bread; good recipe here http://bakerbettie.com/easy-no-knead-skillet-bread/)
melt butter in the microwave, slice up lemons
pour two glasses of nice white wine (gewurztraminer or reisling my favs)....
easy to make, yummy dinner, husband knows i love him, doesn't know how last minute it was....

Ooops! Fresh out of lobster tails!!!
Opted for some quick chicken French (yes yes yes Atty... nothing "French" about it!!!), a bit of angel hair pasta (for the extra sauce), and steamed snap peas. Pasta and peas will wait until car pulls in driveway... chicken simmering now.

I knew it! 40 here... got up to a sweltering 42 at one point. Landscaper now coming out on Monday... and I remain dubious he will be able to stake and spray. (The project area, that is.)
