Congrats on no more pain :thumb:

I vote for dry cleaning, if you want to take a poll about it :D

I need to mention this... it happened on the way home. Gauze, novacaine, IV come-down. I had to take it off for the procedure (they put a BP cuff on one arm). And my glasses. When I came to, the sweater was BACK ON and, too, were the glasses. No telling if they had their way with me while I was out. They were very thorough!

Good morning TIBS and CES...

The teeth are gone! No pain, no discomfort. Just have to get accustomed to the new spaces... and decide whether to have my drooled-on sweater dry cleaned or just toss it.

excellent news! and probably could have achieved the same results without being put under ;)

made up my mind to try for another implant tomorrow - a way back molar i didn't think i missed BUT then i gave it some second thoughts;)

When I was in the recovery room for my shoulder surgery, I remember being supremely ...... off that the nurses wouldn't let me stand up on my own or dress myself...I understand that they don't want to/can't let a patient fall, but I think I might've slapped a hand away. I was indeed "under the influence" and groggy. I would normally have submitted to the rules....I suppose the anesthesia had something to do with it...

Yes, they guided me from the procedure chair right into a wheelchair... even though I am (almost) sure I could have walked out on my own.

understood...i just couldn't bring myself to ask how your sockets were....

(dry clean the sweater)

I can't contribute to the poll, not knowing how ugly or old the sweater is.* Data incomplete.

* Not insinuating that Bear would own an ugly sweater. Or keep a raggedy one.

Ugly raggedy sweaters come in handy and often are the warmest and most comfortable :)

I usually encourage the hands from the nurses, mess up the clothes several times, etc................ ;)

Folks here have said that every 4 weeks seems "too often". So now they can pick on you. I'm off the hook.
They can pick on me all they want :D I keep my hair cut short, and a trim every couple of weeks keeps it looking clean :)
My "sockets" are wide open... gaping, even.
I thought they would stitch them closed???
