It was an absolutely gorgeous day here. 80 degrees and no humidity. There's a beautiful sunset and temps should be in the 60's tonight. Great sleeping weather.
sure hope frannie gets that kind of weather for her camping!

I hope she gets good weather too. She loves camping. And she loves (rare) good weather. Would be great if she gets both. Been rainy here though, that doesn't bode well for East of me. But weather is funny and so is its direction. I'm still hoping for her good luck.

Yup, rain is great to sleep to except when you're camping.

So i went to the grand opening of the local vape lounge last night. Turns out that one of the owners is the brewmaster from the microbrewery next door. Since the taps at the lounge aren't set up yet, the microbrewery donated beers for the opening. It was fun.
I was talking to a guy who'd brought a whole case of RDA equipment - not unusual at a vape thing. He had two huge heavy mechanical mods with microcoils and 26650 IMR batteries. I asked what power he was using and he had no idea that you could figure out watts. So I opened up the ohms law calculator on my phone to show him and asked him his coil resistance. He had no idea. He's got this collection of equipment but no ohm meter AND he was getting ready to try to build quad coils. 
Imagine large 20-something guy with tattoos being gently schooled on basic battery safety by a grey haired middle-aged woman. Gotta love vaping. LOL.

Hopefully the rain will just go out to sea, or travel to someone else who actually needs the rain.
it would have been very useful, if only he had numbers to plug into the calculator....
