I saw you've been reading,Gracie. My reading goes in spurts. I'll catch up on all my fav authors and I won't read a thing for a year or 2. I've had a James Patterson book riding around in the camper for 2-3 years. This weekend I was so bored in the early morning with no internet that I finally started it. LOL

Fran, what you described has been my MO also. I went for the longest time without picking up a book, then a bowling friend suggested that I get a Kindle........you know, it took me more than a year to get it (although I got an Android).

I'd almost but forgotten the magic of the written word, and now that I'm back to it, I'm once more addicted.......I buy from Amazon and it is delivered immediately to my Android...which by the way, I've started to love.........didn't at first.......resistant to change, I guess.

    Oooh, James Patterson!!! Good reading!!!

Just to reiterate a long-ago rant:

No... I will NOT "call us back to confirm your appointment".

I will "call you back" if:
    ... I need to reschedule
    ... I need to cancel

I will NOT call you back to confirm. It must be the SECRETARIES are bored and not have enough to do... desperate for human interaction.

Mad, sorry about the accident, but kudos to you for your quick thinking in putting your head against the headrest, foot off the break, and letting go of the steering whee.........good reflex thinking, I'd say!

Thx, gracie! For sure, over the past few years, I've had to hone my reflexes in anticipation for accidents. :p

I've read all the James Patterson books except the ones I have to catch up on. When my daughters got me a Nook I went on a reading binge for awhile.
