Yesterday's storm lasted a good 45 minutes then petered out to a gentle rain.
We did go out to dinner and actually the rain mist felt good. Don't understand the need for umbrellas in Florida!

this is pretty close to the view we had of the fireworks from my friend's deck...except she lives several blocks closer than where these pictures were taken from.
