i answered that, bear ;) we're on well water and the place is just too big to water unless we get a second well dug just for the yard

good luck at the vet, tygrrr! ;) poor kitty :D

I know of your well-water. The intent of the link (which preceded this morning's forecast) was to call attention to the weather-guesser's yet-again warnings and dancing and prancing and spiraling about severe weather. How many times do they expect us to fall for it??? The answer: "many times", apparently.

Ty-Grr is home and licking his wounds. Teeth fine, but they got me for "senior bloodwork". That's OK... he has not had a blood workup in 7 years. Claws trimmed, one shot. Oh yeah... and "senior" pets should have 6-month physicals and annual bloodwork. Thanks for the heads-up... but we're pretty attenuated to our kids' health. The minute we sense anything is wrong, I'll be bringing him in.

Yes... vets are important and provide a vital service. But on the other hand, I do firmly believe they play on our (pet-parent) emotions A LOT.

CES: Cats rarely breathe through their mouths. So their breath is of little consequence.

trying to keep a smile here on my face - drastic set-back for the alumide tibs ...... sigh

Heh, I'm almost glad I don't follow football/soccer/futbol.

So, Shapeways is the culprit? That other 3D printer outfit was responsible for just the outer case, right?

by now you should be used to all those wrong forecasts!

being up-to-date with shots is a completely different story ;)

I'm glad to not be labeled as an "ogre" [tm Casino GalPal 2014] in that respect.

And that is why they go every year without fail.

The last time my Dad's cat had a vet visit was March 2012. :( :( :( I noticed this past Sunday that she gets her back claws caught in the rug while walking. She has GOT to get to the vet. He said he would make an appointment and then I'll drive them over whenever. Will find out tomorrow. I cannot take her alone because her mission in life is to remove my face from the front of my head. No idea at all why she hates me... and it makes the thought of inheriting her (at some point) a stress point. I'm hoping it's just some kind of protective-of-my-Dad response that will change in a different environment.
